I'd stay away from this game. Certainly could, but 19.5 is a lot. More concerned about that number being high than I am IUPUI being a veteran team... but, either way, not a game to bet on.

I miss watching the Warriors on ESPN3.

Ugh....have to listen to Calipari's BS before the game starts...
Wow. IUPUI missing a handful of guys...
Huh. David Padgett (former KU/Looserville) is an asst at IUPUI
CO should get an assist on JW basket with that seal, but no stat for that.
I like how Jamil looks this game. Seems to be assertive.
Good game for Juan to build some confidence. We get him shooting well combined with the way he hustles and he could be huge.
Must have been practicing outside shooting ;D
I've been saying Juan needs to shoot more. He just hesitates so often on the perimeter when faced with a shot he should take. I think he has the offensive ability he just isn't very confident in himself.
Never realized Buzz and Mini-Buzz both yell constantly throughout the game. That would drive me nuts if I was a player.

Or they heard LW left the AD. Lets go warriors!!
Burton expands his team lead in steals, which leads to an easy transition basket. That's why you need playmakers and not just "solid".
I like this Jamil/Burton/Mayo/Juan/Gardner lineup. 5 guys who generally look to shoot (I'm counting Juan generously.)

Freshman are looking like freshman, some mental mistakes but the skill set is there for all of them.
I'm enjoying KO's commentary.
Time out. Let's see what lesson Buzz is teaching
Don't want to stirr up the debate again but jamil and Davante are far more active with the freshman/Juan in there.
They get so many good looks down low and the offense doesn't stall.
Just told Davante to play some PG!
Gardner wanted that assist. Dawson eff'd it up.
So, what's everyone drinking ?
I'm enjoying some Irish Whiskey today. Jameson I might add.
Also, made a batch of my home made real chili today. Mmmmm. Dunks45 can attest!

Maker's on the rocks.
I enjoyed KO's "9 jobs" comment. Too true! I think he got fired 8 of the 9 times as well. He might have found his true calling, he's got some good insight.
His Burton comments were spot on. Something to the effect of playmaker, always knows where the ball is, doesn't know what he's doing, but he's a freshman.

Agreed - I really like KO as an announcer.
I wouldn't mind a couple F bombs from KO, liven things up.
IUPUI are terrible, but good for them they have the Air Jordan brand unis and a new arena coming.
D. Burton is very impressive and will be starting next year. He has 4 points 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
Best ball movement this year, but against a cupcake so far.
D. Wilson has no points, but 4 assists and no turnovers.
Hope the freshman get extended minutes in second half.

If you put A1 sauce in it, that is the key. A shrimp or two (which I don't have) is a nice touch. Today is just straight Gray Goose, tomato juice, pepperoncini peppers and olives. Not my best, but its IUPUI on one screen and IU on the other, so it is what it is.
That last possession was a perfect example of Juan hesitating to shoot when he should have.

Wandos was using Zing Zang and 20% Guiness stout from the tap. Celery salt, Worcestershire, and skewer of meat and cheese.
I will have to try the A1. Do you add Worcestershire too?
Drinking Cherry Coke Zero. Might throw down a pot of coffee in a minute....

Interesting, never heard of Guiness being added. That sounds good.
Yes, worcestershire is usually used as well. Don't put too much A1 in or it ruins it. Shot glass at most, but make sure to mix it. I would actually say 3/4 of a shot glass.

I don't know specifics. Both zero calorie, but Coke Zero tastes great. Normal pop is usually too much for me.. sweet and what not... where a Diet Coke is pretty blah.. Coke Zero is closer to regular, but not all goofy/sugary. It's refreshing and wonderful. One of the top inventions of century.
The C41 may be right up there as well. Effin RULES!

I'm worried about how much we'll gave to rely on Pierce next year, being the only guy over 6'8 and only being a freshman.
Jajuan goes up for a dunk, loses it going up, then grabs it midair and makes a reverse layup. Wow.

That's right--UNM will be the 8th most important non-BE team for our RPI at the end of the season. Kansas is the 22nd. UNM's impact on MU's RPI will be 10 times that of KU's at the end of the season (1.67% v. 0.16%)
Use RPI Forecasts's "Marquette's RPI BROKEN DOWN BY CONTRIBUTION OF INDIVIDUAL TEAMS AND WINNING PERCENTAGES", sort by "future weight" to see the relative importance of each team for its effect on MU's RPI. Makes it easy to decide who to cheer for in an other disinterested contest.
Of course, this will change some depending on matches TBD--any remaining bracketed non-conference holiday tournaments as well as conference tourneys.
