Title: Kobi Simmons
Post by: JakeBarnes on December 11, 2013, 02:27:49 PM
Jerry Meyer says Marquette offered the 6'5" PG for 2016. He is the #2 PG in the class and #19 composite overall on 247.

Explains why there was an unnamed Marquette Assistant at the St. Francis (which despite the name has no religious affiliation) vs. Whitfield Academy game the other night.

Good luck Buzz, you'll need it.

Ahmed Hill this year, Jaylen Brown and Daniel Giddens offered for 2015, and now Kobi Simmons offered for 2016.  It's clear that Georgia is being targeted by MU.  I've got to wonder how much of this is taking advantage of the Jae Crowder success, and how much is due to someone on staff having some connections down there or some other factor.

Aren't you?  You can't just count on all those calls you make to his house.

I think thew interest in Georgia probably has a lot to do with the lack of good instate programs.

Georgia and Georgia Tech are going through tough times....easier to get kids if the instate schools aren't big competition.
