A couple months ago we were told our 2016 recruiting class was about to get it's first verbal commitment who had ties to Vander Blue and was from Wisconsin. Then the timeframe was moved back when it never happened and about a month ago we were told he would now be committing 2 weeks from that day. The day has come and gone. What's the commitment date now?
Just curious because we need all the talent we can get on the roster, so wondering when we can find out where this recruit will be helping us (back court or front court).
My guess is this was never going to happen, just some guy with phony information.

Just wondering where he'd help. What position is he? What are his strengths and weaknesses? You've said you can't give a name which is fine, but where will he fit into Marquette's roster?

What 2016 players in WI do we have offers to?
Not trying to bash Goldenboy, but after asking a few people, there aren't any 2016s with MU offers and not any 2016s in state that would be considered high-major caliber yet. That's not to say someone couldn't improve to that status, and Giannis Antetokounmpo's brother will likely be a 2016 who is expected to be considered an in-state player, but I have no idea if there is any interest or offer there yet (seems unlikely at this point).

I understand you don't want to name your sources or the player himself. Could you at least provide a list of who has offers from MU for the 2016 class?

Did Vander get traded to a team in Greece and meet Giannis Antetokounmpo's brother? There's the in-state recruit with Blue connections!

Hopefully Giannis is with the Bucks long enough for us to have an advantage other schools wouldn't have. The brothers are very close and Giannis's brother would likely want to stay close to him. He is playing at Dominican and some are saying he could be as good as Giannis.
As for you Goldenboy, I'm sorry I'm bashing you, but this is the third time you have been wrong regarding is recruit. If whoever it is commits in the end I will be the first to apologize, but until then I'll remain skeptical.
Double check your facts on that Dominican thing, unless you Dominican in Athens.

That is probable when he is able to immigrate to the U.S. Giannis' family is currently not in the country.
