At least in some small doses to see how it goes. I hardly think Bo would change his entire game plan and start ramming the ball inside all day. Bo doesnt really adjust game to game. Its not what he does...
Add to that does MU really need a true PG on the floor at all times against a team that will apply little if any pressure at all?
I would go for some stretches with:
J Wilson
J Anderson
T mayo
J Thomas
Then take your pick
jjj, Burton, Gardner, etc
I think you can allow kaminsky a few baskets down low. What you can not have it UW going off from 3. I just do not see UW all of sudden taking it strong to the rack all game long or all of a sudden becoming a low post heavy offense. Dekker being the exception...
Really...are we really going to have yet another thread that says "hey, our point guard isn't worthy of playing against high major competition."
Whatever. Wilson gets about 35 minutes on Saturday.
And I would not go all that small as a regular offense. I am not thrilled of the idea of the jumbo package in this game however.
Holy Straw man Bat Man! Trying to find where I suggested our PG was not worthy. But wait, I didnt...
I suggested you dont NEED a true PG all the time against a team like UW.

Um... no, not even close to suggesting anything negative about any player whatsoever. But if it makes you sleep better at night.
Regardless of the he said he read drama....there is no way DeWil plays less than 33 minutes on Saturday, and there is no reason to go small ball, that's the whole point of switchables....you don't need to go small to have athletes on the court.
DeWil will play defense on either Jackson or Gasser nearly the whole game and he will be critical to creating for Jamil and Davante
I think this is a game where we see Otule in limited minutes and heavy doses of Burton as Becky has no one that can guard Burton if he's on.
I just hope our team shows up against a nationally ranked opponent. Make it a "nail biter" or a blowout in our favor.

Well if burton is getting Otules minutes. MU by default is kinda going small ;D

Not what I was saying....I think Burton gets a lot of minutes at the 3, a lot Gardner at the 5

I know, hence the smiley...
I too would like to see Burton get some extended time. Not so sure if he will or not.

So, you are so certain that Bo is so poor at making adjustments that he won't start pressuring the ball once he sees that MU doesn't have a PG in the game?
I do think that Jamil is more than capable of handling Kaminsky defensively, and he might be the best choice if Kaminsky spends a lot of time drawing his defender away from the paint.
Jamil is a point guard now anyway ;)
I'd like to see JWilson, Jajuannaman, Mayo, Burton, and Gardner out there for some stretches against UW. And please note that I do NOT have an agenda against Derrick Wilson.

Hey, Sultan for once I agree with you. There are some on this board that love to put words in your mouth from something they infer!
Wisconsin starts Dekker as a stretch 4 and three guards. Dekker is the one who can really create off of the dribble. Need to stay home on their shooters. The question is whether Buzz wants to pound the ball inside to Otule and Gardner. Start Mayo? Deonte? I don't see MU playing CO and DG together much.
