Did Todd switch numbers from 4 to 13 at halftime? Anyone catch why?
Blood on his jersey.
Tribute to Vander.
I hope they have a second blood jersey because that would never fit Davante or Chris.

When the announcer said "no that's not Vander Blue back in a marquette uniform" it was like putting salt on a wound.
"Blood on the Sleeves"...three bags worth of clean up. For some reason that was not reviewable...although the name "Armwood" took on a new meaning. Refs were brutal.
He's learning it's all about the team. Wanted to take the name off of the back of his jersey because all that matters is the name on the front of the jersey. We're seeing his maturity in front of out own eyes.

Best answer by far.
Serious question: Did ESPN not show the geyser that was Todd Mayo on TV? They cut away to do a major clean up under the basket...and the MU athletic staff was cleaning him up on the bench the rest of the half. Three bags of material. Then the arena staff again had to clean up the bench with all the blood on the floor. Elbow on the beak...yet no review?
Worst part, he got called for a foul. I was really surprised Todd played again.
ESPN just showed him for a couple seconds sitting on the bench saying he had blood on the jersey so he had to come out.

Thanks...not exaggerating the blood or the cleanup scene...kid was a trooper coming back in. Armwood elbowed him and the three blind mice wouldn't review it. You would think the trail of blood would have been a clue to go to the monitor.
But, then we got the mystery call later which confirmed the refs were not following the graininess diet.
I recorded the game and was fast forwarding commercial breaks, so that's how I missed this. I had no idea Mayo was gushing like a volcano, that dude's getting beat up!

Changing the topic slightly, how 'bout that forearm shiver to Davante's shoulder blade? I thought the refs were terrible.
Any bidders? Wonder if it is also a Mayo DNA original?
