Only by default and because we have to award one,
Todd.
No one else can shoot or be aggressive.
-
CO. He's played better than Gardner for most of the year.
-
Otule...but I can't argue against Todd.
-
Ugly win is better than a pretty loss.
-
CO
-
I vote for Madtown or anyone other poster who went to the game tonight.

Close between Otule and Mayo. Will go with Chris, who knows what happens if their big guy gets to do anything other than foul out.
-
The referees were the biggest improvement that I noticed in this doozy. How bout one for the zebras?
-
Hold the Chris. Mayo was our most aggressive player . p
-
Chris. Or Mayo. Or Chris. That was ugly.

CO
-
Mayo

I think CO's +/- for this game was huge. This is one of those games where he had a huge impact, much of which didn't show up in the box score.
-
Can't go against CO, but Mayo came down with the clutch ft's at the end even though he missed one.
-
Chris was the differencein this one.
-
Mayo
-
I'd go Mayo. He is the only one on this team who can create. Otule was good too.
-
CO, don't see how there's even a question.
-
Todd.

Wrong. Not to put down the play of Chris, but Mayo was aggressive, played good D and made some shots. Not his fault, but Chris played against small competition and 3 fouled out (yes, some because of Chris). I'm ok if it's Chris. But there is a question Brew.

Todd played fine, but didn't do enough to involve the rest of the team. I realize not a lot of people are hitting shots, but Otule simply outshone everyone. Todd will have plenty of nights when he's got a claim, but points alone weren't indicative of SOTG for me. Otule was excellent on both ends of the court and at the line.

Believe Todd assisted on Jake's threes....but I love how those who haven't been in the Mayo camp come up with crap like the above...."didn't do enough to involve the rest of the team." Well, the way I see the rest of the team, they can't be relied on to hit jack for shots, nor create a good one of their own off the bounce.
I too, actually would vote for Otule as STOG, but to dismiss Todd as if there was no contest is just silly. Don't recall Otule "involving the rest of the team." In fact, can anyone remember Otule ever passing the ball back out after getting it down low?? It's almost ALWAYS a shot....which is okay...as Chris shoots a pretty good percentage...but let's not act as though Chris is the greatest at involving teammates.

This. CO should have been SOTG in our second win, too. Too many folks here think he's useless, though, which makes me wonder about too many folks here.
-
Homer for STOG

I think he has become our most consistent player right now, the only reason I think STOG is Mayo is because he basically closed out the game. But it can go either way. To me Otule is not useless I think he does a great job even when he is not very offensive by eating up space on offense and allowing penetration and excellent on D most of the time.

Otule
-
Mayo. Can't believe we needed him to close this as a skinny win.
The anti-SOTG...Gardner. When he pops his head out of his ass, I'll hear it in Montana.
-
The fans who paid to watch that sh*tshow.
-
It's a toss up. Chris Mayo or Todd Otule. Lol
Even. But let's give it to Chris Otule. He played great tonight.
-
CO. Defensive presence.
-
Chris
-
None of the above.
-
No stud when we lose.
...oh, sorry, I should probably check the score first before reading the reactions. Otule for Stud.
-
No stud when we lose.
Hah, I'm almost with you, not often this disappointed after a win.
Gave the nod to Otule since I know he made Pelcher a non-factor. If I were going purely by stat line it would have been Mayo, J Wilson, and then Otule (in that order).
-
As far as players, CO was the right choice, though Mayo would have been good, too. I think the right answer is a 13,000 way tie for all the people who sat through all 40 minutes at whatever they call the Bradley Center now.
-
The voting is already finished, but I would of voted for Otule. You also have to consider that New Hampshire's bigmen fouled out. I do not think I have ever seen 4 players foul out when the team only has 27 fouls and a couple of those fouls came at the end when New Hampshire was trying to extend the game. When the 4th player fouled out New Hampshire only had 23 or 24 total fouls.

I heard there was 100 year old alum celebrating birthday at the game. My vote goes to him. God bless and Happy Birthday, sir!!
