Thanks for everything. Being associated with Marquette has been one of the joys of my life. I'm home, getting better, and think I could be working by the end of the week. I can't wait til isn't back to normal and I'm loved or hated by all.
That's outstanding news. Even just one game without you isn't the same. Perhaps that's why we played so poorly vs. OSU :) Great to hear you are recovering quickly and eager to get back at it.
Great news, Homer! Get well and hurry back - we miss you!
Glad you're healing Homer, missed you, hurry back. Could have used your mojo vs OSU.
Thanks for posting Homer....glad you are on the mend....was a real sad day for all of us in MU community to hear of what happened to you. Godspeed on the recovery.
Nice to see you are back and healthy.
Great to hear! Can't wait til you're back.
Great news Steve! Get well soon.
Homer,
Fantastic news! It's a shame you don't truly realize how beloved you are until a tragedy like this occurs. You ARE Marquette basketball. Good luck with your continued recovery.
Any chance you can play point guard?
Prayers for your continued recovery. You are a huge part of MU basketball.
Homer, you're special, Bro. This board doesn't take kindly to Badgers, ya know?
You will always be our home(r) boy. Get well soon.
Glad to hear you're doing well, Home Team. Take your time and get back when you're ready. As far as New Hampshire...I think Buzz and the boys have it in hand ;)
Fabulous news Homer! Looking forward to hearing you soon!
Great to have you back, Homer. We were all pulling for you.
Can't wait to see you on the jumbotron, next game.
Homer
You put a scare into Milwaukee and glad to see you on the mend. Cannot wait to hear you on the radio in the near future.

Homer, glad to have you with us still and hopefully your voice on the radio again real soon.....more important than point guard, can you take ANY of Jake Thomas' minutes?
Speedy and full recovery--looking forward to radio on, tv sound off!
Great to hear you are getting better Homer. Always enjoy your play-by-play.
Homer - So glad that you, your family and your extended Marquette family can breath a collective sigh of relief. Feel good that your recovery will be celebrated by so many.
Homer - awesome to hear you are doing better. I think everyone on this board will agree how saddened/worried/upset we were when we heard of the accident, and how relieved we were when we found out you were ok.
Can't wait until you are back behind the mic, living the dream.
Great news Homer. Thanks for checking in. By the way, if you need keefe to A-10 that drunk driver.... Just sayin'.
Great to hear you're feeling better! My post game drive home wasn't the same without you.
Get well soon.
Tom Davis, Kevin Epps, Meredith Jordal send their love as well.
Homer - you are the best! Glad you are on the mend. Our prayers are with you. Get back soon!
I didn't realize the emotional connection that I had with you, just from listening to the Buzz show and Marquette games. When the news broke, is sounded so, so bad. I then realized the emotional connection, which seems odd, given that you don't know me (and vice versa). I don't really identify with celebrities, etc, so the emotional connection I felt caught me by surprise. I guess 20 years of hearing you call games, etc, really means something especially given your unique personality and that you really allow your personality into your public (radio) life.
Anyway, I immediately thought about the son you talked about who needed some motivation and Buzz helping you out with his advice... and I was hoping against hope that all would somehow be okay... somehow... for his sake.
When one hears head injury, car accident, and critical... well, it didn't sound good at all :'(
We are so thankful that all is well. You seem like such a great guy and a joy for all of us at Marquette to have you associated with our team and calling our games! Living the dream. Day to day.. You shows and game calling is always upbeat and positive, even when Buzz is giving you an extra hard time.
Here is to a speedy recovery and spending some quality time with your family! And if Buzz gives you a hard time, just tell him your head hurts!
Hey Homer
What is your take on the guard situation this year? Do you think Duane and JJJ will get big minutes as season moves on? I know you were Vander guy and appreciate the role guards play in today's game. Love to hear your thoughts.
Homer - so thrilled to hear you are doing so well! Even though I have never met you, the news of your accident shook me to the core. To me, your game calls are an integral part of the MU hoops experience. Your calls on the Wardle and Hutch 3s against UL are forever etched in my brain.
Looking forward to seeing you back at the scorer's table.
Great news! Good luck with everything Homer! Feel better soon!
If somebody has those and could post 'em, would love to hear 'em again. Was at both games.
Great to hear all is going to be well with you Homer.
Homer, looking forward to listen to you soon!
Great to hear! Can't wait for your next show with Buzz.

Great to hear! Can't wait for your next show with Buzz.
Don't get to listen much anymore because of schedule. But, I remember all of the interviews with Rick Majerus back in the 80's. Best B-ball talk on the air.
'Spose you got Gruber's number, hey?
