Title: 2nd half freezeup syndrome
Post by: NCMUFan on November 17, 2013, 05:28:22 AM
When Ohio State tied it at half I was wondering if Marquette could come out swinging like Al's teams or go into freezeup mode.  The team looked alot like a number of games last year, with the difference being there wasn't anyone who took any initiative.  At least someone on the team last year put it on their shoulders to will a victory.  Maybe Buzz should convince the team games are 80 minutes long.  I was also amazed at the number of good shots Ohio State took and the number of low probability shots Marquette took.

The old timers can recall probably many games where going into the half the score was tied.  Coming out in the 2nd half, Al would throw out this stiffling press that would result in some quick steals and turnovers and blow the game open for a Marquette win.  Ok Ohio State is no cupcake, but something has to change.
