This. Having lived in St. Louis for 3 years after graduating from Marquette, I can tell you that Mizzou fans are basically the Ozark version of Badger fans. Obnoxious delusions of grandeur with little to back it up. Plenty of "Wal-Mart Tigers" in their ranks who didn't go to Columbia too. Always bemoaning that they aren't considered national title contenders, but always get mowed down against higher-calibre opposition.

Hey, hey, they almost beat Norfolk State to get to the second game of the tournament a couple of years ago.

I still remember vividly when we played Norfolk State a second time in November or December on a Sunday night a few years back (and almost lost) and I was the only customer sitting in a Kinkos updating the score while waiting on a print job for a graduate school assignment. #sportsaremypointofreference
