if there is a web page or somewhere i can find MU's past records (W-L, not points and steals) and also there strength of schedule?
Our very own Wiki can give you the W-L record for most years of MU hoops:
http://wiki.muscoop.com/doku.php/men_s_basketball/start#teams
As for SOS, Ken Pomeroy goes back to 1999: http://kenpom.com/rpi.php
year: record, SOS, SOS rank
2007: 23-9, 0.5795, 17
2006: 19-10, 0.5775, 22
2005: 18-11, 0.5409, 77
2004: 16-11, 0.5351, 77
2003: 23-5, 0.5631, 39
2002: 26-5, 0.5219, 101
2001: 15-14, 0.5312, 86
2000: 15-13, 0.5558, 38
1999: 14-15, 0.5221, 102
Not sure where to get older data. I think http://Collegerpi.com may have it, but I believe that requires a subscription
p.s. - Wow, Deane's last year was a bad one - worst record, and worst SOS...
to a degree those numbers are wrong. Mu has played number of DII schools over the past few years. While they do not count towards the RPI they do count towards our Mu records and all time records.
Thanks... now i just need to find our SOS for the years from 1990-1998 if anyone has that that would be amazing!
aren't DII records counted by every school, every coaching era? if that's true whats the difference? i don't think the committee considers those games for selection

Yes they are counted and yes the committee considers them as well. The RPI doesn't count them and since the committee also uses the RPI it can be argued that at least with that tool, they are not using those games. But overall they are counted as wins, but they are broken out to the committee as a DII opponent..actually as "OTHER non DI opponent".
I believe in the last 7 years we've played 4 DII schools in that time period....some due to tournaments.
