There's a new HS center destined to be a five star who has just arrived from Greece. He reminds me of McIlvaine when he blocks shots, but is much more gifted offensively. Per MaxPreps:
"The 7-foot-1, 250-pound junior could arguably be the best high school center in the country. He could already be the best center in the Philadelphia area—and that includes the NBA's young, rebuilding Philadelphia 76ers."

Why do we care about this?

Apparently,
you don't. Some do.
Are we sure they didn't just change the name from a Darko Milicic article?
Philadelphia. We're SOL.

Not sold on a traditional big. Tell ya what, I'll take Stone. Bucky can have this gyro.
Willie says to pass on this guy anyway - he's only a 3-star.
I want them both! One big won't do when they are calling touch fouls.
(what's wrong with a traditional big, 4ever?)
Augie, nothin's wrong with an athletic, skilled, traditional with hops. Beggars can't be choosy. Just figurin' a brother fits our culture and is OKG.
Stone and Ellenson.
appreciate the clarification, Dan, but Stone and Ellenson would be fine with me.
I'm down with that.
Was watching a bit of UC Irvine last night. They have three 7 footers on the team. Crazy. Including one that is 7'6". They lost in OT on a shot that wasn't quite half court, but close enough to Fresno State.

One of 'em is a Grecian. Mamadou Ndiaye is the 7'6" kid. I first saw him in person in Denver playing for Double Pump Elite 3 summers ago.. with Nigel Williams-Goss... good team, Ndiaye barely played.. He'll get lots of chances to play for the Anteaters (overly violent and racist nickname?), but it's like Yous (except way bigger). Once you get past size there are concerns everywhere.
Almost a nice win for Irvine.. but they're bound for a season around .500, even with (actually in part because of) the trio of talls.
Spencer Hawes would eat this dude alive

Would they be better if they were circumcised?

They need all the girth they can get, so do not think this would be wise.

If he is that good he is going to a blue blood program. So again why do we care about this?

I heard rumors that Pitt was going to sign a overseas center which would eliminate the spot for Pierce. Is this that center?

Heard the same rumor that either Pitt has stopped recruiting Pierce or Pierce no longer interested.
The Pitt target is not this guy, heard it is Menno Dijkstra, who I have never heard about. Mystery......

Anteaters have plenty of girth

Pierce tweeted that he was at the Pitt football game last night. Not sure if that indicates they are still in it. Either way, he should be here Saturday. Hopefully we'll provide a good environment.
Well, can't say it's bad to see 9/9 predictions to MU on 247 now.
