Mayo. Way to step up. Hopefully a harbinger of things to come. Defense, rebounding..... whole package tonight.
It's DG and TM. But I'll agree. Todd played well.
Mayo...someone needed to make field goals in the second half

Yezzir
I'm all in... Todd Mayo
Mayo, what tower912 said!
Mayo
I was going to ask for the Mayo, but since everyone else did, I'll take some Gardner.
Gardner
Mayo
... and, by the way -
Vander Who????
Mayo.
(What's up with JJ/Mayo/Gardner scoring 55 of our 63 points? Where was everyone else?)

Really? Because there was no one on the floor that could put in on the floor and take it to the basket like Vander did last year.
Mayo
Mayo.

Maybe, but the shot is pure.
Mayo. I loved DG's first half, but Mayo played well the entire game.
Todd.
Frosh of the game was young John Dawson. Solid minutes.
I'd vote for Mayo, especially since I saw it coming...
Watching Providence vs BC, while eating Real Chili and drinking High Life, the hand check rules are ridiculous. If they call it like this tonight at MU, I predict Mayo has 20+ points, at least 10 free throws, and 3-3point baskets.

+100
Solid minutes + no mistakes.
Todd, man. Stepped it up.
But against BE comp, he's gonna have to be more than he was today.
Mayo...Praying that he can come with that intensity day in and day out!
Mayo...
the lad played with relish this eve.

Well...he didn't do much. Bad turnover toward the end of the game. I actually thought Burton looked better. But all three of them looked like freshmen.
I'll go for Gardner, mostly to buck the trend. Either him or Mayo are equally deserving, so I take the underdog.

Burton's pull up jumper was lightening quick. I wanted to see him shoot more.
Agree on Mayo.
Didn't see the game at all, so thanks for all the input. Looking at the numbers, I would have expected more votes for Davante, but I guess he probably should have had more rebounds and less zeros in his stat line. Mayo gets his first SOTG....

Davante got a bunch of his points in a stretch in the first half. Mayo did a little bit of everything and was more consistent all game long.
Davante did not rebound and missed 5 free throws. I am too late to vote, but I would of voted Mayo

He really brought the mustard
Mayo has to practice more. Much more...on his smile.
I know mayo is the sotg, but I think it's DG. If he were to get the ball down low on every possession he would have fouled out the entire southern team. He was truly unstoppable. If he wants to go to the basket he is going to go to the basket and He scores or gets fouled.
