Looks like he's playing the Juan role. Start and then never see the floor again. Don't understand that.

It's game one guys.  Let's just see how it plays out.

If I felt like it, I'd locate all the whining over Vander not improving and possibly regressing after the first two games last year.

He played about 12-15 minutes which i think is what his role will be.  With Davante, Jamil and Otule in front of him, minutes will be tough to come by.

It was more than that last night.  Steve missed a box out or two that shouldn't happen.  For whatever reason, he simply wasn't himself and earned pine time as a result.

Agree after the charging call, he made another foul and Buzz pulled him.  Still think he is the player to watch on this team and has a high upside, just not his time yet.

I wonder if the software would allow this post to be added to every thread when Marquette doesn't win by at least 25.

I'd like to apologize for my poor grammar in this post. I was at the game on my phone and, ok, maybe all the beers I had during the pre-game started to kick in.

Also, thank you to the MUscoopers for ignoring the grammar and not commenting on it.

Can't say I didn't think about giving you a little schtick for it ;)

That autocorrect was kicking your ass ;D

Is autocorrect and light beer or more of a stout?

Taylor may be one of our only bigs next year so I hope he is given plenty of playing time this year.  I really don't understand the "you can start but you have a sort leash" approach. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't understand it.

Pretty sure starting roles are earned on the practice court. Closing roles are earned on the game court. Just because you earned the first doesn't mean you will automatically earn the second.

Only if the software also removes itself with ideas that players have turned the corner after one game against a very average opponent.   :D

Taylor, Juan, next year upfront, it should be a different team, fast and small again.  What is the story on Malek Harris?

Still committed to Marquette, but I'd be surprised if he signed in the early period. If he doesn't sign early, that doesn't mean he's not coming.

You dont know that. For all we know Buzz may tell him to wait to sign as a probationary thing.
