There are so many options:
Jamil Wilson
Will he have turned the corner and live up to his NBA athletic ability like he was showing late last season? Can he do it on a consistent basis?
Todd Mayo
Dude has some serious athleticism and ability. Can he play up to his potential?
Jujuan Johnson
Pretty highly regarded recruit by MU standards. Supposed to be pretty far along for a frosh
Derrick Wilson
How will he handle the starting PG duties?
Davante Gardner
I for one think he could dominate this season. Causing double teams and therefore open looks. I suspsect you will see his range out near and maybe including 3pt land as well.
There is obviously more. For me it is Jamil Wilson and Jujuan Johnson.
Guard play. 3pt shooting. Big guys down low are a given. I want to see a Deonte Burton highlight dunk in garbage time.
I'll be locking in on the guards. Will also want to see if Jamil plays some PG.

This
Well probably Maegan Kelly getting more assists in Marquette's Big East soccer semi-final game against St. Johns at Valley Fields. We haven't lost at Valley Fields in two years.
#1 3 pt shooting.
#2 Gardner's passing. He has the ability, but hasn't shown a ton of proficiency. If MU wants him to touch it every possession, he's going to have be able to get it, and give it up (sometimes).
If those 2 things are good, I honestly think MU can beat anybody.

Cradle dunks only.
Steve Taylor, Jr.
Deonte.. so people can start to understand.
And Toddler and JJJ.
And Big Sheesh. Jamil too.
Interested: Derrick Wilson
Excited: JJJ or STJ
Triple J and all the other noobs.
After hearing Buzz discuss the new rule prohibiting hand checking, Todd, Derrick and Jamil.

You could say the same about Marquette and the Bradley Center, going for 26 straight.
It's been over 7 months, I can't way to see the team play. Looking forward to the first glimpse of the freshmen and to Steve Taylor's progress, even with the knee surgery.
For those going to the Bradley Center it looks seeing how well the Freshmen play will be the major concern.
Todd Mayo...think he can break out this year...
JJJ...can what we've heard about his practice performance translate to game action..?
BeeJay, I'll be on the lookout for any hot cheerleaders for ya.
How JJJ plays and the rotation at PG.

Thanks, dog. Need to meet some new ones.
I just watched some clips from a movie an ex stars in. Looks a little rough in it, but that's because of her character in the flick. Movie description is: "A deaf girl is brutalized by a murderous gang who are then hunted by her when the bloodthirsty spirit of an Apache warrior inhabits her lifeless body."

1) JJJ
2) Wilson at point: can he do more than pass it around the top of the key?
3) Dawson: can he provide 10 minutes?
4) Mayo: needs to resemble first half of freshman year
Rotations... there will be a bunch and I am interested what combinations Buzz goes with. Other than that, nothing will be answered tonight.
Juan Anderson
I believe he will be lighting the world on fire this year, eclipsing Jamil Wilson.
Tons of good comments here, but for me the guy I'm most interested to see is definitely Derrick Wilson. He's almost certain to be our least celebrated player, but if he can be successful this year, this team could go really, really far.

I am with this also. Lets see if playing more minutes helps his 27% FG, 14% 3 point and 45% FT rates. Being the starter may give him the confidence to bolster the numbers, but also hoping it does not put more pressure on him to succeed.
Whoever is playing point, for the entire game on offense, and Gardner on D.
1) JJJ
2) Juan
3) Todd
4) Derrick
The kid from Alaska.
