Butler tickets went on sale to the general public a few minutes ago.
I just bought 9 in row BBB of section 35.

Let's paint Hinkle gold!
Just bought 8 with TallTitan and MarqPTM in the uppers behind the MU Bench.
Sec JJJ and KKK Sec 32. (and now that I look at it, how is there a KKK row?)

You forgot we are also with scooper mumarmar.
Any others out there get tickets? It's not that far of a drive.
I'll be there
Family of four will be there...
Flying in from Buffalo for the game. Can't wait!

jsglow and I got our tickets last week. Our buddy with the lucky gold shirt is also a Butler season ticket holder and hooked us up.
Bad visual, Chick.
I've got a group of 8 in Section 26. 4 each in rows II and JJ.
I will be going with a group of 5 as well! Bought my Wisconsin tickets this past weekend too. I will be in section 311 Row E at the Kohl Center.

Thinking about buying tickets to this game as well. Where did you buy yours from? Online or through a season ticket holder? Also, what's the price range usually on these tickets in the secondary market?
I tried craigslist as well as StubHub. I got to the point where I said screw it so I bought them on StubHub. It was hard to find decently priced tickets for a large qty together. If you want to sit in the upper deck you will probably be paying $60-100 per ticket and lowers for $115+ per my research.
Wife and I are making trek down from Chi. Excited to see hinkle and the MU turnout.
My guess is that as the game gets closer, there will be a lot of sellers.
Section 20 with my wife and 2 boys, coming over from Champaign.
I'll be there with about 7 other 2010 alums
Something tells me that we'll be very well represented. I'm excited to see Hinkle for the first time and hope that lots of students come. Be cool to get a picture of jsglow jr. on Steve Taylor's shoulders measuring the height of the rim.
Longtime reader, first time poster...We have a group of 25 '07 grads sitting in Section 26, Rows GG, HH, and II!
Good Lord.
That's a lot of people going... especially when you consider the place only holds 10K.

And considering the place only holds 10K, I was shocked to see how many tix were available when single games went on sale. I'd have thought the place would be nearly full just with season ticket holders.
There are actually less tix to the @Depaul game than for teh @Butler game.
Is there an MU bar in indy? Some pre/post meetings (I realize we still have a long time). I know my group of TT, PTM, DeaneTeam are probably going to get a hotel and hit the town.
Could be messy if there is a home colts game!
Hit up Broad Ripple....not far from Butler's campus. Typically the bartender at Broad Ripple Tavern sports a Wade jersey, which is always a good sign.

OK if the bartender is female but if not I sure hope he doesn't wear a T-shirt under it

Does Butler offer a group rate at all? We're looking at 15+ people as well.
is your group looking to sing or be in a high-five tunnel?

I wonder if we could get a bunch of Fanatics to pose as the Brebeuf Senior Choir.
Bump. Plenty of tickets still available.
Also, where are people staying in Indy? Most of the downtown hotels are either sold-out or really expensive, and there really doesn't seem to be anything near Butler's campus. Anyone know where the team is staying?

Wait on hotels. The prices could be inflated because of the chance that the Colts host the AFC Championship Game.

That guy is a friend that I've known since high school, and he no longer works at Broad Ripple Tavern. He moved back to Wisconsin a few months back.
Funny story...that bartender is a really big guy. Like 6'4" and 320. Brad Stevens used to have weekly meetings at BRT. My buddy was friendly with him as he saw him regularly. After the Maui Classic, Stevens came in for his weekly meeting. My friend had his Wade jersey on and as soon as Stevens came through the door, he yelled at him "I HOPE YOU KNOW I'M NOT HAPPY WITH YOU!!!" Stevens looked at him alarmed for a moment, then both started laughing. Safe to say my friend go the last laugh as Marquette's win over Stevens in the NCAAs scared him so bad he fled Butler before the inevitable twice-a-year beatings at MU's hands.
i'll be there with my dad! count on us for 2 more gold shirts.
surprisingly, butler does not get great attendance overall at their games. i went to the vandy game this year and there were plenty of seats available.
Four additional gold shirts in Sec 28 row JJ.
