Not sure if this question had been raised before but why do some threads like this one (http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=40285.0) that are two pages long get a "view ALL" while pages like this one that are eight pages long (and counting) (http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=39084.0) don't have a "view ALL".
Just curious.
After two pages, the thread is easier to read when it's set to "view ALL".
Thank you for asking this. I've wanted to ask this myself many times.
Pretty sure it's part of the SMF software.
Each message requires XX calls to the database. They are "willing" to give you 3 pages worth of posts, but imagine if a thread was 40 pages long .. way too resource intensive. They draw the line at 4.
Fu*%^g Rocky.
