I was taken by the similarity to the Northwestern football tickets as far as layout, format, and player pictures on tickets.  Must be same printer.  Great choice and much better than recent tickets.

So that's what that was....

Came home exhausted from work, felt the spiral through the envelope, and assumed the athletic department sent me a calendar.  Guess I will have to open it up tonight.

It took me a second, that all sets of the tickets are in one book.

I liked the format too .. but my tickets were misprinted or something.

It's missing the Louisville game, the UConn game, the Notre Dame game, the Pitt game, the Cincy game ..

There are 16 home games this year. 7 non-con and 9 conference games.

I didn't really notice this before now, but it's going to be kind of weird not having a home game for nearly a month between Nov 21 and Dec 14. I can't remember that long of a gap in between home games before.

Been about seven months since one right now...

Oh, you meant DURING the season...

Same here, but I didn't want to raise a fuss about those.

I wonder if all Big East teams went with the same formatting. Creighton did the same thing this year, in years past it was just a sheet. The Marquette game ticket is gigantic though, at least double the width of all the other tickets. Probably kept in mind that its NYE and we might be a little tipsy and massive ticket might be easier to keep track of

Does anyone know if the BC can scan the PDF of your ticket if you pull it up on your smartphone?  I know it's only a matter of time before I drive up from Chicago for a game and realize my tickets are still in the nightstand drawer.

I've made that mistake many of times...you can get ticket reprinted for free at Will Call. Just need to have your ID.

For other ticketmaster tickets you can download the tickets to the passbook on the iphone.  I don't see anywhere on the season ticket website where you can do that though.

Random bump, but I used passbook last night for the game and it worked great.  If you go to your GoMarquette account on your phone and select to view your tickets, there will be a link in the top right corner to add it to your passbook.  Just make sure you do it for each ticket, not sure if there's a way to add them all at once or for multiple games.  Of course, once you get to the game, they handed me a little sticker of my tickets after scanning my phone, so it's not exactly paperless, but a good backup option in case you forget your tickets somewhere.

I use this method too.  Much easier than bringing tickets.

Yea, student tickets also can be scanned on smartphones now. Which I greatly appreciate.

I don't know if I would recommend it for students at the front of the line racing to get seats.  You have to wait for them to print your ticket.  It doesn't take more than 5 seconds but that could be a valueable 5 seconds!

There aren't any refusals by BC employees on scanning from Passbook or a PDF from a smartphone this year so far? I used this method almost the entire season last year, and then suddenly the final 3 or 4 games I had some of the ticket-takers refusing to scan because their bosses were yelling at them for it - so I asked to talk to said manager...when I told her I had been using this all season, she responded by saying "No, you didn't. You're lieing." Hopefully they finally got rid of some of the terrible customer service personnel there... </end-rant>

You should forward your story to MU's ticket guy, aaron.parris@marquette.edu .. I imagine he has the contacts to get that straightened out once and for all at the BC.

...is easier than this?

Put ticket in wallet, take ticket out and hand ticket to ticket-taker.  ;)
