QuoteLouisville's Rick Pitino announced Thursday that Chane Behanan's is suspended indefinitely for a "violation of university and team rules" and "no longer a part of" the basketabll program.
"Can Chane come back on the ... team?" Pitino said. "It is possible. It's not probable."
Whatda he do, add some alfredo sauce to some chick's linguini? Be back by the first exhibition game.

I understand Rick likes his clams al dente
I have a friend who knows a guy who used to hang out with some Louisville students who say he set someone's leg hair on fire.
Totes legit.

I turns out that Cincinnati fans were correct, he is better suited to play for them.
So he'll be back by December 3rd.
And if it was Syracuse the guy would be academically ineligible and then back within 4 days. Grades come out each week at Syracuse, apparently.
Boeheim just throws a whining tantrum about something every four hours.
I don't think its grades....Coaches always leave hope that their player will work hard in the classroom and return. Pitino was pretty direct about Behanan not coming back, at least anytime soon. Maybe a legality issue rather than an academic one

Boeheim had about 5 kids in MU's time who were ruled academically in eligible and returned within a few weeks.
Rick will suspend Chane for something he did...until about a week before the first big game of their season.

Mid-December at the earliest according to the article. That's a few games lost.
I understand the belief that this won't be that big of a deal by the time games roll around.
But Pitino said that Behanan has already missed one item on the schedule for him to return and, perhaps more importantly, they kicked him out of the dorm that the basketball team lives in.
