Some are taking shots at the league for only one team in the top 25, but it's a preseason poll. Worthless in my opinion.

Actually, pre-season polls tend to be superb reflections of a team's potential. Last year for instance, the Indiana University team was the hand's down favorite to win the National Championship. The squad was loaded with talent and headlined by two future Lottery Draft picks. Unfortunately, in the end, it was deficient coaching that failed to cash in on what was magnificent promise.

LOL Hands down you would think they were a unanimous #1, which of course they weren't. It did correctly forecast the Big Ten Regular season champion, however. ;)
I think the preseason #1 has won the title twice in the last ten years if memory seres (very possible it doesn't)
