The big feller looks in good shape and sure can shoot stationary 3s from the top of the key. May he get more buckets than ever this year.
I thought DeDe took the ball up the court extremely well. PG this year?
He shoots threes like free throws. He doesn't jump.
He jumps when he dunks. He just needs to be motivated, is all.
Years ago, Damon Key was effective from the top of the key in a trailing (trailer?) mode. I can see DG doing this as well. And I'm hoping to see DG at the high post more often this year. I think that will open up several nice options.

Better than shooting free throws like threes. Jumping at the free throw line.

I think Davante Gardner and Steve Taylor are switchables for the high and low post and together they are really strong combination. Both can shoot from the high post and both can score under the basket. Both can pass the ball to the other. When Otule is on the floor he is limited to the low post and therefore is not switchable with Gardner.

Agreed with all of that. I think you can add McKay with Taylor. Although McKay may not shoot it from the high post, I feel comfortable with him playing that position and just getting out in the open court. I believe Strotty said in another thread that Gardner told him we'll see him and Otule on the court a lot together, but I'll believe it when I see it. It worked once last year but that was a short stint, and I feel that's more based on matchups than a lineup we can put on the court consistently.
Between Otule, Gardner, Wilson, McKay, and Taylor we have big options. Our 3 4 and 5 could all be 6'7"+.
