noticing the absence of a certain committed recruit who's suspended.
That's insensitive. Shouldn't say that.
Damn, that's a lot of recruits. Is that more than we've ever had? In years past, I only remember 5 or 6 max. How incorrect in my recollection am I?
Is there a stream for madness tonight?

is the live stream

If he's there, he very well could be a distraction and could send the signal that his scholarship offer is still good. And I am fairly confident that decision hasn't been made yet.

Ye, its better he not appear tonight from a number of different perspectives. Let the young man figure out where his future is heading.
If, I remember correctly, commits can only happen once the recruit is off campus and back home or is that only if they are doing the official signing which cannot happen now anyway?
Will we hear rumors of oral commits as early as today or tomorrow, or will it wait until they are back home?

It's not like there's an actual rule for verbal commitments, which are as good as the paper they're written on.
It makes sense for the coach to tell the kid to go home and think about it, given that the kid can just change his mind whenever he wants anyway.
I'm pretty sure this is the most stacked madness we have ever had. I hope students are planning to come out in force. We need the Al to be rocking tonight.

The rule is that an NLI cannot be signed on campus. Verbals can happen anywhere, including on campus ( Noskowiak and Flory ).
Hearing this is the first of two visits for Matthews in the next two months. Landing either him or Stone would be huge. Landing both...I am scared to even dare to dream...
Roosevelt Smart is really good. My dad coached against him last year when he was still at Palatine. Still very raw but has major upside.
I can't recall, have any recruits verbally committed shortly after Midnight Madness?

Eric Williams
Vander committed the day after Madness.

Vander committed the day after Madness.
Probably committed before then. He told myself and a friend of mine that he had already made up his mind while at Madness. Didn't say where, but we took it as a good sign that he was telling Marquette fans that his mind was made up at Marquette Madness. Probably wouldn't have said that if he decided he was going back to his UW commitment.

Here's what I could chase down for comparison:
2012 big names: JaJuan Johnson, Duane Wilson (already committed), Diamond Stone, Deonte Burton ("), Jameel McKay, Jabari Parker (watching STJ)

Maybe it was just announced the next day then. We also talked to him at the end of MM that night and we were happy to see the commitment announcement in the MJS the next day.
Looks like a great list of players. Goes to show you how Buzz has elevated the program and that the Big East will continue to be a premier basketball conference.
So which one of those 2016's could as rumors said "start Marquette's 2016 class?"

I know you think I'm an ass for the grammar, but my high school seniors twins know only you can tell yourself anything. I don't blame MU for that though.
Let's hope for two commits tonight. Hill and Miller at least?
I saw Hill, Cohen and Shayok hanging out at the end. Looks like it was maybe Miller or Barrett Benson with them too? Stone there. Didn't see Charles Matthews. Phillip flory is really tall for his age so I'm intrigued to see how much he grows over the next four years. Could get pretty tall.
It looks like it may have also been a good visit with Marial Shayok. Another Crystal Ball prediction a few minutes ago for Marquette, making it 11-0 for MU.

Shayok's coach discourages them from committing until they are home for 24 hours. My guess is that we will hear something at the beginning of this week.
Too many switchables on that list. Not enough bigs. Buzz hates bigs. We only get littles.
We are doomed.
