Can someone fill me in on how Cooley is getting all these ridiculous signs? Is he that good of a recruiter? I know they are a member of the BE and near fertile recruiting grounds, not to mention they've produced a few stars in the past few years. That being said, last year was their first decent season in a long time, and they haven't made the tourney since 2004.
Don't particularly care, but yeah, hes a good recruiter. I dunno, maybe being a premier basketball only conference is actually a selling point, who knows.

Cooley has always been known as a good recruiter. This isn't the first year PC has landed top talent. Its just that Cooley is willing to take chances on kids with baggage (poor grades, personal issues, etc.) and many of them don't get to play.

Ricky Ledo was a prime example, Kiwi Gardner too...Any school would have gone for Ledo no one can blame him for that. A couple of former MU targets on that team and now it looks like were head to head with PC on Shayok. He is a good recruiter and PC will be a good team in the new Big East. They are vastly underrated right now....

But a bad bat catcher.
And some kids prioritize playing time when looking for a school.
