Any info on him?
Thanks.

That's some pretty stiff competition.
Ya think? He is ranked almost as highly as Stone. There may be some competition.

Like Ahmed Hill, a Georgia kid (although they are a couple hours away from each other). Hoping Giddens plays for E1T1 in the EYBL next summer.
I've spent a good amount of time in the gym watching him - a bit raw, but upside is absolutely there. Saw him for a weekend at USA Basketball minicamp last October. He played with the U16 team in Uruguay.
He runs very well for his height... has been putting on weight, so we'll see how he maintains everything, but that will remain a strength. He can run and jump with the best of the centers.
Can use both hands around the rim to score. Good offensive player. Gets to o-boards well.
Learning on defense, but he's super long (looks like a ~7'2"-ish wingspan). Of course can block shots at this point because of his length, but work to do.
A little bit young for his class.. July '97 bday.
HS basketball for Wheeler, which has produced a number of high level (including NBA) bball players.
Well rounded kid.
Has a little brother - is probably in 5th grade?
In summary: Really good prospect.
With Giddens, that makes 5 offers to bigs ranked in the top 50 of 2015 (Zimmerman, Stone, Giddens, Ellenson, and Egi). Buzz is definitely going big game hunting. Pulling in just one of those guys can be a game changer for our program.
His teammate Jaylon Brown also received an offer from Marquette yesterday.

He's not a big, but Charles Matthews is another 5 star guy we've offered who would be a huge get for us.
Buzz also mentioned in recruitment of 2015 big, Moustapha Diagne.
"Seton Hall and Rutgers are expected in today (Thursday) and Minnesota, Florida and Kansas are expected in next week, Hasson said.
Diagne holds offers from Syracuse, Villanova, Memphis, Penn State, Rutgers. St. John's, Cincinnati, UConn, Seton Hall, West Virginia, Temple, Cleveland State, Oregon State, Iona, Manhattan, La Salle and Rhode Island.
He has high interest from Kansas, Ohio State, Florida, Pitt, Illinois, Marquette, UCLA and Minnesota."

I've heard very good things about him. I actually think we have the greatest chance of landing him out of all the other 5 stars that Buzz is pursuing.

We'll see, the likes of KU and UK are all over him.
When these recruiting sites mention "interest" in their scholarship offer lists are they referring to the schools interest in the player or players interest in the school?

Recruiting sites are all over the place and often outdated and almost always incomplete.
That said, generally there has been interest from the school to some degree.
