Surprised Jameel wasn't ranked in the top 10 BE Newcomers.
I'm surprised to see Deonte ranked ahead of Duane.

Deonte is considered physically more ready to contribute right away.
Derrick will not prevent Duane from showing his skills.
Deonte will see time in Nov and Dec. but will have a hill to climb for PT come conference time--even with the awesome cradle dunk.

We R Final Four - I've got you thinking cradle dunk 24x7. ;)
That's why Buzz recruited him, right? He can bring it.

Deonte will play more than McKay.
It will depend on who can defend better, but I doubt that.
At this point, we will have a bigger need for McKay next year on the front line--so I think Buzz will use this year putting lbs. on Jameel and getting him acclimated to the BEast.
Jameel has a pretty skinny frame, I do see a kid like him gaining 40-50 lbs. in the next year, 10 yes, he really is built like a small forward. If MU does not score a big, I see McKay,
Taylor and Burton seeing a lot of time the following year, add Juan and the front line will be the all skinny team.
Todd Smith is awesome at what he does--however 50 lbs. maybe asking a little too much. :)

I made a mistake, I agree that 40-50 lbs. is not possible.
Wasn't JFB kind of skinny when he first came to MU?

I'm sure he could find a chubby soph and ask her how she did it.

Sure it is. Clay Matthews and J.J. Watt did it in about 3-4 weeks.

I think 21 is too late to learn how to use a training bra. Let him stay wiry.

Shouldn't be too hard to find the before and after pictures of that 1...I'd be interested to see those

Yeah that's a good 3-4 week timeframe right there for ya. But you're right, nobody in the history of the world has ever put on muscle from the time they were 18 to the time they were 25 years old. Especially guys going from being a young college athlete to a professional athlete.
No idea how to post pictures on here, but google images of Brandon Marshall, Lance Briggs, Alshon Jeffery, etc. They're all roiding!
Heaven forbid an NFL linebacker has some muscles! But nobody other than JJ Watt and Clay Matthews in the NFL are on steroids or have strong arms. Nobody.

And if McKay has genetics like Juan Anderson, he might not be able to put significant size on at all.
Not talking strength, just appearance.

I'm not....when all is said and done he might outrank them all.
Yeah, except this is a PRE-season ranking not a POST-career ranking.
