I think her ranking is pretty accurate, tremendously dissapointed with Creighton's nonconference considering what they have, and I think that Depaul could actually make it into conference with one of the better records.

But, but, but we only play cupcakes and always have the softest schedule ever.........

I honestly haven't heard anyone say this in years
Buzz has done a great job with scheduling....
my boss (a UW grad) was certain our non-con schedule was weak this year, glad to show him even ESPN disagreed with him

Buzz has input, but Mike Broeker does most of the scheduling work.
Our high end is tough this year, but our cupcakes are really weak. Our RPI may well not reflect how tough our schedule is.
A fair (albeit stupid) thing to remember is that toughness and SOS as determined by the RPI can be very different. MU's SOS isn't anywhere near a 10.
What's up with Bucky-St. John's in South Dakota?

They are playing at some new arena on the campus of the heath care company where Joe Krabbenhoft's dad is the CEO.

Squirmy.
What's squirmy about it....MU, UW, STJU, or anyone for that matter?

The Bucks and T-Wolves are playing a game there as well as the Sioux Falls Skyforce making it their home.
Nothing squirmy about it at all.

Which came first, the scheduled game or Krabby's position on the staff?
Most seem to be scheduling fairly well versus their expectations, Creighton being the exception.
I still want to drop a turd in the coffee of whoever put Grambling on our schedule.
Is the parking lot in South Dakota paved, or do people just leave their cars in a field somewhere nearby?

Krabbenhoft isn't even on the UW-madison staff anymore, he's on the South Dakota State staff.
UW-madison is giving up a home game to play this game in South Dakota...a stadium that seats only 3,500 people. No idea how the financial arrangement is going to work with this, but I would have to assume UW is taking a revenue hit on this or somehow there is a sponsorship involved to make them whole.

There was a thread about a month back when the early games (Southern, Grambling St. etc) where a couple of members were complaining about how its not fair to season ticket holders to have to pay for crappy games like these. Not quite the same thing but I think that's what Schmidty was referring to.
