Title: Juan Anderson
Post by: BCHoopster on September 04, 2013, 10:20:05 AM
Just happened to be driving thru the campus on Wisconsin Ave. yesterday and saw Juan in a walking boot?  Any word on that, what is the deal?  I must admit he looked bigger than
I remember the last few years as well.

He lost the straw draw on the annual "ok who wears the walking boot that is purely precautionary but will cause all message board keyboard pilots dwelling in their parent's basement to collectively lose their sh$t and demand resignations from the S&C coach, the pope, and Tom Barrett for letting such a thing occur."

We're still working on the name of the random drawing, but I feel like we're getting close

Actually heard something about walking boots recently that may ease a lot of our concerns.

A lot of those "boots" are actually using some-type of electrotherapy and are more precaution and to speed up recovery than anything too serious. A few years back Cole Aldrich was seen wearing a walking boot around KU's campus before a big game and everybody freaked out. Turned out those in the know knew he was going to play and the boot was working some type of electric or magnetic therapy (I'm totally blanking on what it was, so hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about).

MUBB player walks around campus in walking boot.
Tide goes in, tide goes out.

Pretty sure it's high time to add an item to an all time Scoop
classic, Buzz Williams Spillproof Chiclet Cups' season checklist:

Season checklist
( ) MUBB player seen around campus in walking boot (concern trolling ensues)
( ) Non-conference near-miss against inferior opponent (sky falls on Scoop)
( ) Non-conference stinker to inferior opponent (more sky-falling)
( ) Non-conference loss on big stage convinces board MU not ready for Big East
( ) Unmentionable conference loss
( ) Road Game we weren't supposed to win
( ) Late surge
( ) Top-half Big East Finish

he did tweet something yesterday about "I just hope this setback don't last..."

Wasn't sure what it meant and was actually waiting for something to pop up on here.

It truly isn't fair.  I prefer to judge people by their spelling.

The boot is just a sign of readiness to have a "breakout" season. Taylor, Mayo, and Anderson are all in final preparation.

Buzz trolling scoop and using as motivation for team. We know Buzz has looked at scoop and he knows how hysterically worried the scoop community reacts when a team member is seen on a walking boot around campus. So he probably has a good laugh looking at comments. Then at practice he shows players how worried we are, telling them they are like family to us. This is all in Buzz's plan to make us Elite. ;D

Nothing personal toward Juan ... but he hasn't earned the right to have Warriorland lose their sh$t over him wearing a boot.

Now if it were Davante or Jamil ...

I do not judge people by their grammar or spelling, just by how much they criticise others. I never misspell, I just mistype.

Juan Juan is fine...I saw him this morning. He is out of the boot. Told me he is ok and day to day...pretty much.

Juan is a Warrior. He'll be straight out the box...no problem.

I understand the boot is just a clever ploy to get additional attention from the babes.   ;)

His foot is fine.

It reminds me of the zippered arm cast I used to wear to bars.......
