15. Marquette (24-10)
As much as Tom Crean would like to forget about last year's disappointing exit in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, he does have one of the better backcourts in America with juniors Dominic James, Jerel McNeal and Wesley Matthews all back in Milwaukee. Marquette will need a solid front line to go along with its perimeter play, and the Golden Eagles hope that sophomore forward Lazar Hayward and freshman Patrick Hazel can be the answer for them down low.
Hazel....oh how much I love half-assed reporting and analysis.

yeah......complete fiction. Its great to see MU ranked, but I think this team is getting the shaft from most of the early reports frankly.
better to feel underranked and have something to prove then highly ranked and feel invincible
Does anyone else feel that the first sentence of this "report" does not make any sense?
You're right, TP, it doesn't.
I think being ranked 15th preseason is a stretch..., we should be a top 25, but the way we faded last year w/ the same talent, plus 2 okay freshmen, I feel we need to prove ourselves- show we've matured. It'll be interesting.
