I realize I am jumping ahead a little, but I am going to the Valpo game. Does anyone know of a pre-game meetup in Valparaiso? Being Valpo, an Applebees might be the best sports bar they have. Can't wait to see them in person.
Applebee's has rats! I found a whole rat in my Cobb salad!
I had an aligator crawl out of my toilet.
And once I passed out, and I woke up in a tub of ice, and my kidney's were gone.
both kidney's were gone not just one
wow they got you good down in indy
I've really had to curtail my drinking ever since. :P
I've heard they have giant alligators in their sewers, too. Seriously, does anyone know about any pre-game meeting sites? Cuz, after last night, I cannot wait to see them in person. I hope this is not our "trap" game, the one that we come out flat for and lose to an inferior team because we didn't re-focus after the huge win.
having five days to prepare and listening to TC tell them this is only the beginning should keep us fired up. We should be around No. 10 or 11 by tipoff time, and if we go into the UW game undefeated that will be the biggest game in state history.
I'm a bit worried abou this game... it's after the holidays, almost a week of reading our press clippings, no school, too much playstation, etc, etc. I just think this game might be tougher than many of us expect. I know we'll be prepared but I just hope we don't get caught off-guard by a scrappy, well coached team.
it definitely has the makings of the classic letdown game. no need to worry about that yet though. let's bask in the victory, stuff ourselves on thanksgiving, and have a little faith in the boys...
I concur with some of you...
This game is the epitome of a TRAP game: big win, possible big letdown.
I actually think the game against Delaware State has more potential to be a let-down game for us. Looking ahead to WI.
Some of the players might be basking in the glory of our recent win, but when they show up in Valpo with most of Richmond, IN there I think they'll snap out of it.
