Title: Back to the Basics
Post by: mixINaWILSON on August 23, 2013, 01:27:59 PM
I'm a little concerned about Buzz getting caught up in the twitter world, lets cut the superlatives.  Agreed?

Ok, I'll bite.

What are you concerned that Buzz is ignoring so he can post playful barbs at his players and various motivational phrases on Twitter?

Isn't he also wasting time calling his former players every day as well.

Time for a little monitoring - it's gotta be basketball 24/7/365

This is a man (Buzz Williams) who is methodical and data-driven as a coach,
and so insanely meticulous that he schedules his day's agenda, and practices,
to the MINUTE.

I think he'll integrate using Twitter into his sked JUST FINE, Mr. First Post
Concern Troll.

I don't know why I bother, but if are concerned about Buzz being able to interact with recruits on their preferred forum for social media in an NCAA approved way, then yes, he should cut it out.  If you think the university's most recognizable and respected employee should stop marketing the school and the program to thousands of followers, then I agree.  While we're at it, maybe he should cut out superlatives like watching high school games and being a resource for former players.

Trust me, it's a good thing that was probably overdue.  Rest assured that he's not using it as his porn feed (although Twitter is great for that too, so I've heard).

You stated it much better than I - but I tried to post it in 140 characters or less

With a name like twitter and being on the Internet of course porn is involved.  Even things not named like that become about porn because yay anonymonity! Chat roulette anyone?
