I paid about $10 (4.9 pounds, to be exact) and, based on one listen, it seems worth it. On first blush, it's not on par with "The Bends" or "OK Computer," but much more to my liking than their more recent efforts.
Even though it was already pretty much free if you didn't choose to pay, this album was pirated more than it was "purchased" - how's that for irony? The primary reason given to explain it was that this was probably more out of habit than malice - i.e. people are in a routine of downloading music from regular BitTorrent sources, and may not have fully understood the band's very new approach to the subject.

A bargain. Terrific music. Still, would be interesting to know how many of those $0 downloads were people who had never listened to radiohead before. And what does it say that $6 was avg compared to the artificially high charges we normally see?
Interesting times.....lots of disruption in this space
I feel like a lot of RH fans probably paid something.
And the people that were cheap hopefully found a new band they can enjoy, and will go out and look into the music from the past.
