He's friends with tom crean. Tom Crean was his coach in college. Tom Crean gave him his shot. Just because marquette wants to shun tom crean doesn't mean wade has to.
DWade looks like "she-it, how much am I getting paid for this again?"
THREE @DwyaneWade 17h
10 yrs after he's coached me. We continue to learn from ea other. Love this guy tomcrean is the best!!! http://instagram.com/p/dIm_5olCFQ/
RAGE!!!!!!!!!!
Who hooked Wade up with his steroids, Braun or Crean? He's in Miami, the Biogenisis Clinic was in Miami, maybe it was ARod's fault?
Dwade could have worn his red/white Heat kicks to this event, but no -- blue and gold all the way, baby.
You people are clowns.
Oh wow, he still hangs out with his old coach, shocker. Geez.
When will the national media talk about his contract terms though? (TC)

You know people are being facetious and expressing mock outrage, right?
Even a clown would recognize that.

He was likely addressing the real clowns that truly are on this board and in the fetal position every time they see Wade with TC.
Joke's on them, cameras steal your soul.
Wasn't Buzz part of Dwyane's fantasy camp anyway?

Geeze who gives a crap. Let it go and move on already. This is ridiculous.

I really like the fact that Crean still promotes with Wade, it's basically free publicity for Marquette with one of largest fanbases in the country. Wade played for Marquette, nothing will ever change that fact. Take the free pub!
Two things:
1) At least Wade's wardrobe has gotten better
2) Are all of those guys potential IU recruits or potential walk ons what? Maybe short old balding men is what schools are going for now?

I think that this is some kind of fan fantasy camp or something. I remember seeing it last year, too. If you look closely, it appears that they threw down a basketball court inside a hotel ball room/conference room.
I'm a big Marquette fan, but I'd like my wife to please euthanize me if I ever contemplate signing up for something like this.

Say what? Sounds awesome. I think it's a great idea. MU fantasy basketball camp at The Al for old guys (and girls - holla). I'd love to do it. As long as we skipped the bootcamp crap - I don't need to do that.

I'm still not sure I'd want to do it, but if it was at the Al that would make it a lot more palatable. The hotel ballroom thing really makes it seem cheesy to me. YMMV

Just not my thing. Maybe I'd be interested if I had ever played basketball.
Better than his halloween costume.

It didn't stop Damon Key.
You wouldn't want to pay 10K or whatever for a fantasy camp to have Buzz in your face telling you that "you are the worst ever" no good" etc? Come on, that is priceless stuff, at least to those with big bucks (not me). I'd pay about $5.00 to have Buzz insult me (at least insult my basketball skills, maybe not me personally, I might cry).
Maybe he can set up a table like they do for advice in Charlie Brown (Peanuts) shows, with Buzz giving out insults for $5.00 a pop for those of us who cannot pay for a fantasy camp. Better, maybe an insult for 5 or a life lesson for 20. Buzz's life lessons are worth a lot more than that... can't wait for his first life lessons book.
Seriously, I hope Buzz and MU never do a charity fantasy camp. I hope Buzz has better things to do than try to make an extra 100K during the summer, like spend some time with his kids, recruit, read, practice, and about 100 other things that should come first. These guys are paid enough to not have to do this type of thing. Now, if former MU players did it to pick up a few bucks, that would be kind of cool, and be beneficial to everyone.

Forget about hosting one - I can see TC as an eager attendee. I think he'd pay big bucks to play Tony LaRussa's plucky second sacker for a week.
