Hey All,
I apologize if this was discussed before, I haven't been on the board as much the past month or two. Was any reason given why we don't have a home and home with DePaul this year? I only see Seton Hall and Louisville on our schedules as the teams we play twice.
That stinks! I always enjoy the unofficial reunion up in Rosemont. I highly recommend sitting in the DePaul student section (all 100 of them) - always a good time.

No reason given - dictated by the Big East, and most likely by ESPN. Anyhow, there is a third home & home with Notre Dame. I'm happy about that - and at least we don't miss any BE team this year, like we did with Cincy last year...
one less home game for MU.
dammit! ;D
Was wondering .. last 7 years, MU is 5-2 @DePaul. Tasty road wins.
Yeah, that is too bad that we aren't playing at DePaul, because that made for a very easy 45 minute road trip to watch MU play basically a home game.
Oh well, I will get to go this year and watch Marquette avenge last year's thumping at the Joyce Center in South Bend.
At least Chet Coppock won't get punched? :-\

Can you tell me how easy (or difficult) it will be to get tickets for that game? And -- if I want a seat touching the rafters -- what will they cost me per ticket?
I can use a year away from having to attend a game at that dump
For the ND game, make sure to call the first day to get tickets. They are not that expensive, $9 a piece? for bleachers in the 4th row.
I will be helping to organize ticket purchases through some people I know that go to ND as grad students (ND is paying them after they went to MU for their undergrad) If we do that, then we can guarantee that there are big groups of MU supporters together and not scattered about. I'll be in 106 all season so come on down and ask around about the ND away game.
ND tickets are not difficult to get, although I would check when they go on sale and contact the ND ticket office that day. Marquette will probably be one of their bigger sellers. Fortunately for me, I usher at the football games for ND, so I pick up my tickets right there.
Do you usher in a particular section? My girlfriend is a grad. student at ND, and I come to pretty much all the games (sitting all over the place, wherever I can get a ticket). I am a little curious as to why ND did away with the student ticket exchanges for all the games but USC this year, I used to get exchanges from her grad student friends so I could sit with her...
'87 has anything been discussed about a bus trip?

we play DePaul at the BC this year but me and a couple friends were getting the idea batted around about a bus trip for the Saturday, February 2nd game at Cincy. Keep the old CUSA rivalry in our minds and this team should be better than last year. Plus, other than ND, it's the closest away game where we have a chance to actually get some seats together. Will keep it posted.
