Post by: PaintTouches on August 09, 2013, 11:44:31 AM
Our video making skill stink. Midwest Ballers' don't. We rounded up their Pro-Am reels in one spot for those that missed any action this summer.

Deonte Burton is a beast.  Duane Wilson is a hell of an athlete an makes it look easy.  Jameel McKay looks like he has small hands by the way he dunks and was either tired or can't jump.  Davonte has some more spring in his step.

Highlight films such as these remind me that the reason Dr. James Naismith placed the peach basket ten feet above the court was so the players would not be able to "stuff" the ball into the basket.   ;)

If Davante throws down some dunks this year I have a feeling it'll be the first time the backboard shatters since this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcuEIuTagg0

How tall is Devonte?  He looks like a big 6'5".

I think Burton is the heavy favorite, but the better the dunker is the difficult the attempts become, which leads to misses. That is how Jake won last year. He attempted dunks he could make, while his competitors missed dunks they had little chance of making.

Burton's trademark reverse cradle hammer is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

When was the last time you saw a college player do that?!?  Jerry Stackhouse in Cameron?  Seriously.

Seen many vids of Deonte over the years, and have been trying to determine his wingspan.  7' 3"?  Kidding...but not really.
