Welcome. Let's hope the strong sales trend continues.
From MU's website.... "While Buzz and the Golden Eagles focused on Session II Day Camp, the MU sales crew crushed the single-day season ticket record and is nearing 150 new seat holders with the final tally coming Tuesday morning."
I'm looking forward to joining this group as soon as my next paycheck arrives. Can't wait for the season to start!
We started out in the $132 (current price) endzone seats. For a point of comparison, Bucky and ND seats last year were going for about $60 per game on Stubhub in that same location. So certainly a good investment even if you can't make 100% of the games. We never felt guilty eating some tickets from here in metro Chicago.
As Jake Leinenkugel would say, "Join us out here."
I remember chatting with a former MU ticket sales manager .. he said future ticket sales are highly correlated with how well the team did the prior year.
Looks like that elite 8 appearance = +150 new seat holders.

On the first day they are available. Let's hope that climbs from there.
I bought a pair for the 1st time but not because of the Elite 8 - I realized that the price increases in my 400's section Row V 5 packs cost more than the cheapest season tickets and after a fellow scooper gave me his simliar tix for a non-conference game last year I thought the seats weren't too bad.

And while certainly officially discouraged, we used to move around the corner to roughly the baseline for non-con games making sure we were up high enough that we didn't impact any actual ticket holder. Enjoy the season Red.
I am a college student ( Not at Marquette). This is my 3rd year as a season ticket holder. I make it a priority to spend my money on season tickets + 2-3 away games. Cannot WAIT till Grad school at Marquette in 2 years!

The corners have pretty good sight lines. And other than the really big games there's almost always a little room.

Great work--mubb34. Impressive. I know hundreds of alums who haven't gone to 2-3 HOME games, much less away games.

This new conference will be bad for MU hoops.

Just wait til season ticket holders go through re-seating every year. We'll be lucky to fill the lower bowl.

So with 236 new season ticket holders at 2.5 seats per holder times $125, that is up to an extra $74 grand in the bank.

This pretty much sums up my situation as well. I graduated this spring and now am working for a couple years before going to grad school at Marquette. Wouldn't dream of giving up my season tickets, even if they are in the cheap seats

my new season tickets are $30 (for the pair) cheaper than the 5 packs I bought last year

That is a great point. How many of the 236 are actually "new"? The season ticket price is a great deal for sure, with more flexibility.

I bought the 5 game packs ever since I graduated in 2007. Last year was actually my first year with season tickets (although not in my name). This year I got them transferred to my name so I guess I'm part of the 236 as well.
Great to see the young alums and future grad students jump on board. Fantastic entertainment value especially up in the $125 end zone. Plus there's a great beer garden upstairs at that end with all kinds of cool micro brews. Great way to spend an afternoon or evening in my book.
Next summer I'll be making the speech to my daughter reminding her that she'll still be welcome to visit her friends in the student section. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.

$125 a ticket is a steal! Heck that gave me enough in my budget to drive to Kentucky last year! Butler and Madison are the choices this year. Cheap entertainment.

How or why do think think they are the $125 seats?

I think your overall bill is more, but cheaper per game?

If your a new account for buying season-tickets, your new!

But if you buy a 20 game package with the Brewers you are considered a "season ticket holder".
If you got backstage and gave Robert Plant a hummer, you were called a badgeholder.

This isn't the Brewers. Baseball works different with 81 games.
Five game pack is not the same as buying season tickets for Marquette. That's not me saying that, that is the MU ticket office saying that.

This is the second year that I've bought the $125 season ticket package, but it actually comes out to $172 once it's all said and done. Also to piggy back off your idea of still sitting in the student section I didn't even see my seats last year because every game I went to (all the weekend ones cuz I live in Chicago) I sat with my 2 brothers who are currently students. It was a blast and I actually prefer to sit there over where ever my seats are.

Mine were $304 total for 2 seats this year and were $334 ($172/each) for last year's 5 pack

Actually no, the total price including the $20/seat Bradley Center fee was $30 less than the total fee for last year's 5 pack in row V section 400, I looked up last year's charge after buying season tix this year to confirm
The premium pricing for selected games kept driving up the 5 pack price plus when I couldn't make it to a game it was difficult to impossible to recoup face value for the likes of a S Florida at $30/seat but at $8/seat I have no problem even if I give them to a buddy to take his son etc.
The 5 game flex plan went on sale Monday.
Over 450 people already got their #mubb mini plans today, were you one of them? Home schedule features Ohio State, Gtown, Butler, and more.

I wonder how many of those people bought the pack with the tOSU game because it's the only one of the 10 games in the packs that has an assigned date right now.
