The 2000 class ... Depaul had #11 Andre Brown and #18 Imari Sawyer. Yes they both disappointed (viewed with hindsight many years later) but at the time it was a monster class and Depaul was ranked as high as #10 during the season.
You think Depaul can ever pull this off again. Or, what does Depaul have to do to pull this off again?

If Melvin and Young and Garrett Jr pull off some nuts upsets this year they'll work their way to relevancy again... This is their chance if its ever gonna happen.

Most DePaul fans believe that firing Lenti-Ponsetto is
the essential first step. Of course, DePaul just gave her a contract extension. DePaul's president, Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider was impressed because she wanted more years over more compensation. Which just goes to show that Lenti-Ponsetto is more tuned into the precariousness of her situation than Holtschneider is.

Theyre team really isnt that bad. With a lineup of Young, McKinney, Garrett, Melvin and whoever they put as the 5 its really not a bad lineup at all. They also have Crockett coming off the bench. I dunno, I just feel like they should be better than they are.
