Has anybody see what Harris HS stats are, and does he play in one of the larger schools divisions?

He plays at Sandburg HS in the south suburbs. They play in the 4A division, which is the biggest division in Illinois high school basketball. Sandburg isn't known as a hoops power, but it plays in a pretty solid conference.
Wow, Myles Turner up to #6.
Maybe they ranking services are just worth a grain of salt, but I still find it comforting when I hear about our recruiting targets like Harris and Cohen as "rising", and new rankings come out that strongly agree by putting them from somewhere in the large 3-star range to well into the top 100.

Sandburg is usually a decent team competing in the Southwest Suburban Blue conference. They had a bad year last year in conference finishing 5-8, which was good for 6th out of the 8 teams.
He was suspended at the start of the season going 0-11. He came back and they went 10-7, which includes a Regional Championship over Homewood-Flossmoor Julian Wright's alma-matter).
There a couple games of his on this site.

Thanks for that link. I ended up watching a full game, and was very impressed with Malek. Looks like a perfect player for our system. Rebounds very well, is dangerous when he slashes to the hoop, and is not afraid to take big shots. Here is the link for the game I watched if anyone is interested:

Rivals doesn't show MU as being on White or Moore - are we still on them?
I like that Harris is 72. Keep plugging Buzz!

I wouldn't put too much stock in the schools listed with players, but I also think there's a chance that the Harris commitment shows a shift away from White. That's just my guess though.

Maybe less of a shift and more of a recognition of the long odds of landing White.

Exactly, wouldn't be surprised if Buzz put the pressue on Harris knowing White might be a longshot.

Or, judging by the description of their games, Buzz might prefer Harris (high motor, rebounding slasher) over White (perimeter floater)

I've only seen White play a couple of times - very talented, but "perimeter floater" is a fair description of what I saw.
