Every time the 2015 class is discussed, Diamond Stone is the first name to come up, and with good reason. However, can anyone provide some insight on where we stand from a recruiting perspective with the 6'9 center Henry Ellenson. All I know is that he is from Rice Lake. ESPN shows we have offered and "Becky" has not.
.
Both MU and UW are recruiting, and have offered him.
His dad played for MU...transferred to UW. His brother plays for Minnesota.

He's got UW written all over him. Not saying he'll choose them, but it looks like a good fit (and no, not just because he's white).
Ellenson hits the boards hard and plays defense. 6-9, 240 lbs. we'll need someone that size.
Search 'Henry Ellenson' in the Search box in the upper right corner of the website. You'll find numerous comments.
Ellenson is a much better fit for Marquette than most might realize. He's an athletic inside-outside player that is more face-up 4 than back-to-the-basket 5. The dream scenario is landing both Ellenson and Stone because they would really compliment each other well, but I'd be happy to land either.
In response to the OP, by all accounts we are recruiting him as hard as anyone else for 2015. Stone and Ellenson seem to be the top two priorities.

But how well would they play together?

Hey, if Diamond Stone's history teacher says Henry Ellenson is going to Minnesota, he's going to Minnesota.
My two cents after seeing both: Henry Ellenson is the more complete player. Has an outside jumper to go with a skilled game inside. Diamond Stone is a touch more athletic and better around the rim.
Frankly, I'd love to see Ellenson at MU rather than Stone. I think the kid is going to develop into something really special.

Well, sure, both would be fine.
I would rather have Stone. But according to his English teacher and the amount of Madison re-tweeting he does it does not look good.

I can only hope Kenosha's friend/Stone's english teacher isn't really a huge MU fan. Nothing would have turned me off to a school more than having my english teacher constantly dropping hints.

I heard that Stone's school bus driver once had coffee with Crean.
