Hmmm.  Was this an early indication of Lazar being cleared?

Ehh, good to know we have some people willing to give real scoops around here.  Too bad I was too dense to actually pick up on it for the first 40 min  :-[

These spam bots are getting smarter day by day. This may be the greatest old thread bump ever and it was executed by a spam bot.

I even considered clicking on one of those clearly infected links just to give a nod of appreciation to a hard working bot like the one that pulled out this beauty.

We don't think our spam comes from bots .. when you register, you need to do a Captcha, plus a question .. "How many sides does an Octagon have .. Which word is the same as its color (each word is in a dif color)" .. math problem, etc.  .. So we think they are real people, likely paid pennies to do this.  (Rocky blocked all China IP's a long time ago.)

What's strange is they usually register and it's 5-10 days later, they post the spam .. which we delete after 0-4 hours.

Lots of work for little reward.

Please don't.  Any amount of encouragement is too much.  For the few who may not know, these attacks are paid for whenever anyone clinks on a link inside them for which click the spammer is paid.

Unfortunately for other scoopers, this level of security was not in effect when I created my account...

my only captcha/security question was:  "Do you know anyone in California willing to share an account with you if you are banned?"
