Have there been any updates provided with regard to the new FOX Sports One Channel that will be covering Big East Basketball starting next year? Will all league games be televised? Will they cover any of the non-conference games for teams in the conference? Will anything change with regard to the preseason games being aired on FSN Wisconsin (or whatever the local channel is). Any updates with their online streaming channel, much like ESPN3...will they even have one?
It'd be a real shame if there will be decreased ability to veiw games for those of us who live outside of Wisconsin. With DirecTV, I was able to watch almost every game last year - I really hope that doesn't change.
only Chicos can answer this, better bump this thread afterhe gets back from the jet-ski vaca

Just saw this on foxsports website...

Fox Sports 1 is scheduled to be in 90 million homes (ESPN is in 100), multiple reports of showing over 100 Big East games, Gus Johnson will be calling alot of them, plans to show midnight madness, Big Monday, show games everyday of the week (even Friday), Big East conference opener marathon with all 10 teams playing probably New Years eve (Marquette at Creighton is a rumor on a Creighton board). Fox Sports 1 will be the Big East Network from November to March, I wouldn't worry too much....

Hooray for NYE! It's been 3 years in a row that I've had to haul my still-drunk ass down to the Bradley Center for a noon game on New Years Day. Good riddance to that crap!
We better get Gus Johnson at Madness this year.
Didn't see any word yet about games on Friday. Gus Johnson also does games on BTN.

Hey, most of us lose track of time while drunk.

Ya, during the Rose Bowl.
How is FS1 showing so many games going to impact the FSWI partnership with the Big East Network?
FS Wisconsin didn't have the Big East Network.

I hope FS1 starts carrying the games that were TWC exclusives so those of us without TWC can watch at home
If it's just a local game, it will be on TWC Sports 32
that's what I was afraid of

Body is fine (albeit I think she's too short); face is alien-like. She's another who will look 74 by the times she's 30. Forehead's bigger than your balding scalp. Not real cute. Maybe a 6.
I'm sure she's a nice girl, though.
The biggest news to me is MLB won't be on the network until 2014 and the way many contracts are written, there is no guarantee MVPDS will carry the network in 2013. That's the "oh crap" moment for many. Next few months will be interesting to say the least on the distribution level. Those MVPDs that didn't carry Speed, have to do a deal with FOX. Those that have Speed, there are complexities with whether Fox can merely substitute Fox Sports One with Speed all while Fox still plans on carrying Speed, thus not making it a channel exchange.
That's what's going on behind the scenes based on the Fox conference I was at and talking to various other distributors. Net net, the channel will launch in August but it doesn't mean your local provider will carry it. Lots of posturing going on right now because lots of money at stake. My guess is most will carry it this August, but not all. Just a guess. 2.5 months to complete a deal. Very busy times.
but will DirecTV carry it right away?

I'll be in Las Vegas with them Monday through Wednesday along with their other networks (National Geographic Channel, FX, etc). We'll see.
