Recruiting class ranked 9th
9) Marquette (160 pts)
#30 Jajuan Johnson
#54 Deonte Burton
#59 Duane Wilson
Coach Buzz Williams struck gold with this group, which should feed the transformation process he is engineering.
Can you find a link with the other ranked schools?
Interested to see if any other non-big school made it besides Duke. Also, you got to like we add a great JUCO that doesn't factor into these rankings (I think).
I'm really excited about this recruiting class. With the addition of Jameel McKay we are really set up for dominating the new Big East for the next couple years.
We should call them the Four Seasons.
Edit: And after all that talk about Kendrick Nunn, he's down in the mid-50s. Great job Buzz!

Thanks. Well for better or worse, MU is the only BEAST team on the list. Need to have another great class to keep the momentum rolling.
Also, How is there two #9s?
Question for those that follow the rankings more closely... ESPN, Rivals and Scout are the ones mentioned most often, I don't know if they're good or bad, but they're the most common. How good are the other ones: Van Coleman, PrepStars, and 247Sports? Just looking briefly at the list, it seems like 247 has the most outliers.

There are two #9's because it is simply an average of the expert rankings with no tiebreakers. There are a lot of ties if you look closely at the player rankings.
Cuse and L'Ville in the rear view window is pretty freaking impressive

We're churning out NBA talent now, we have an amazing recruiter and above average in-game coach, and loads of talent coming in. This team is on the cusp of sustained greatness barring any big setbacks.

I was thinking the same thing: When is the last time Marquette had a recruiting class ranked higher than those of Syracuse, Louisville, North Carolina, UCLA and Michigan State?
I know rankings don't mean anything unless the players actually back it up on the floor, but it's still pretty cool to see us up there.

2005...with the exception of North Carolina, the class was ahead of Syracuse, Louisville, UCLA, Michigan State.

If a couple of freshman can perform anything like that 2005 class did freshman year, look out!
I feel like we need a freshman who can play point for at least 20 minutes a game AND a freshman who can play the 2 guard for at least 25 minutes a game.
I hope Mayo can come through at the 2, but I don't expect it. I hope to be very wrong on Mayo and hope he proves us doubters wrong!
Just hopes everyone pans out as predicted.
