So far Maryland, ND, Villanova, Virginia and Xavier have offered. Don't think that 2* rating will last long.

Maryland (NIT), ND (7 seed), Villanova (9 seed), Virginia (NIT), and Xavier (no-post-season).

Maybe the 2* will improve--but all of these programs are at a level that are a step or two below us right now.

You can't say ND and nova are a step below us, it's one or two seasons you are talking about, they should be recruiting a level of talent similar to ours, actually so should X

Yeah, Kentucky and their first round NIT loss, North Carolina and their 2nd round loss, Michigan State and their Sweet 16 loss, and Kansas and their Sweet 16 loss are all a step or two below us right now as well.

I kind of like direction we have gone with non traditionals, but I'll go along with Buzz.

One of the toughest to ever wear a Marquette uni was a traditional named Goose.

Goose Brell was fearless and one of Al's all-time favorites. He was drafted by the Bucks but when that didn't work Goose headed up to Alaska to work on the newly announced pipeline. One of kind guy.

What are people's definition of the levels of programs? Is it based on anything other than immediate recent success? Jeez we get uppity fast.

Looks like he may have slimmed down quite a bit even within the last 6 months or so.

He's good. Only been in the US for a couple of years. Not a wuss boy Euro softy type player. Good size and will bang guys down low (nh).

Smart player, good competitor and has rebounded very well in EYBL player this year - can stretch out past the 3-point stripe, but he's a good back to the basket guy, not a tall-euro who hangs out on the perimeter. Has done a good job of taking care of the ball inside as well.

A week from tomorrow night I'll watch him go up against your boy Paul White and Meanstreets.

2 Star?

"Rankings" on some websites are often a result of ignorance or lagging behind current times. Don't read much into it. In a year and a few months we can look at his "stars" and have a debate on whether it's a reasonable ranking, but right now it's just a placeholder on some website.

With the traditionals---less flash but solid B-ball players--
Know the fundamentals.
