That he'll need a haircut when he's in Atlanta
Maybe he will be getting a tryout at DB for the Falcons.
I think we need some real news to follow.

This is one of those mysteries best left unsolved.
bump
Give the man credit. He doesn't want just any Atlanta barber.
Only the best for DJ!!
I think it's foolish and shortsighted of us fans to make assumptions based on that tweet.
How do we know he is not talking about Atlantis?
Look, you'll just have to trust my sources, but believe me when I say that my guy is very well connected and knows the deal.
James has been supplementing his income by participating in the underground barbershop competition. James has gotten really good in the European version of this circuit, and he's just calling out the potential Atlanta competition. As you all know, Atlanta is widely recognized as the upper echelon of barbershops and barbershop competitions.

He obvious means Atlanta, GA. Ballers all use airport codes when they talk (i.e. Jimmy is happy to be back in ORD after last night's tough loss).

You're just calling it "underground" because the competitions usually take place in someone's basement.[/deadpan]
As an african american, we are very particular about where we get our haircuts. We're not just gonna go to any old barbershop or supercuts. He was just inquiring were he could go, that wouldn't F*&^ up his lining and would be able to cut black pp.'s hair!

All i know from teaching is that if your a black student and get caught with a bad haircut, god have mercy for your soul the next day of school. The students with bad haircuts dont hear the end of it

Oh, thank God. I couldn't tell whether JFB was talking about the Office of Rare Diseases or an Over-Rated Defense.
I'm sure if he gets a bad haircut he'll writhe on the barbershop floor for several minutes before being helped to his feet to continue the rest of his day.

He'll get up to get fluids, wait for someone else to get a good haircut, then sub himself back in to take the credit... loser

A teacher should use the right form of "you're".

You're not allowed to criticize Kenosha's grammer! He just makes a few typos once in a great while. Like "your" and "you're" or "dont" and "don't" and sometimes even forgets to capitalize the "G" in God. He does not teach English. Can't we all just get along?
Atlanta signed him to guard George Hill. They played each other in high school, and Nic was by far the superior player
Plus he lives in Atlanta so its not unusual to get a hair cut where you live.

His hair could really use a 4th week of grooming. I think he is getting bad advice to get his hair cut now. I currently don't even see him getting a first round appointment this week. Returning to work on his grooming and then seeking an appointment after his 4th week would surely elevate his appointment status.
Can someone remind me on the rules? If he seeks an appointment now, but does not hire an agent, can he return?

Once a barber has been selected, he can turn back at any time until his sits in the chair. Once he is in the chair, he cannot return to ungroomed status.
I'm going to second this as one of the best threads ever.

I heard the NCAA is looking into changing the rules so that players can't get around these requirements by cutting their own hair.

Maybe Buzz told Steve to buzz his hair or be Buzzcut ala Newbill. Or maybe Steve doesn't practice free throws. Who knows.
ish is getting serious.
Buzz just announced that he is resigning as HC at MU, moving to ATL and opening a barbershop with Neek called Buzzcuts by Neek.
Wardle is MU's top candidate to replace Buzz as he's like the honey badger when it comes to his haircut.

After the Adam Morrison debacle, the NCAA is really trying to recover that and focus more on the barbershop process. One of the big debate issues turns on whether getting ones haircut overseas counts as electing to sit in a barber's chair.

The definition of "overseas" is also important.
I always thought it was kind of odd that you could skirt the rules if you went to a barber in Toronto, but not if you went to a barber in the Little Havana area of Miami.
It is also my understanding that he committed a rules violation by accepting a free neck trim at SportClips.
Suspension is forthcoming.

My sister-in-law is a teacher as well and she has some horror stories about high school students getting bashed for their hair. Oh, perspective.

I really hope this is not true. SportClips would definitely lock us in as a mid major. Larry Williams really needs to have more of a plan to ensure Marquette remains ELITE and we are hitting up the Aveda Salon.
Does the aveda institute count?
This board has some smart BB people but can be sooo sophomoric. I don't post much, but once the season was over, just bs time-wasters. Chuck Norris squared.

Red-shirt sophomores, perhaps. I think that - technically - we're juniors.

Aveda institute has not passed the clearinghouse yet. NCAA is not sure if it is just a front for haircuts. Not enough traditional haircuts.

Didn't Al once say that "the best thing about someone who is freshmanic is that he becomes sophomoric"...or something to that effect?
