Title: Ken Burns's "The War" : Any thoughts?
Post by: 77ncaachamps on September 24, 2007, 12:43:22 AM
In brief, it was classic Ken Burns: framing a world-changing event through the lives of those who fought it and their loved ones.

I am particularly appreciative of his spotlights on Executive Order 9066 (which really gets no play outside of CA/West Coast/other internment areas) and the "inclusion" of the ethnic soldiers.

I look forward to the rest of them.
