Had a spinal tap last week as part of a clinical study U Dub is doing on combat related brain trauma. A lot of us lose our sense of taste from time to time so they draw spinal fluid as part of the investigation. I volunteered to be a guinea pig in order to advance the understanding of PTSD. Can't wait to get back to Nepal, though.
This made me laugh

Why would that make you laugh?

Maybe it reminds one of a real gung ho lifer military guy: Sgt. Rock; John Wayne; the Colonel (Duval) from Apocaplyse Now; Sgt. John Basilone of USMC--"Cmon you sons of bitches, you want to live forever"; Chesty Puller in Korea at the Frozen Chosin when surrounded by ChiComs--"Now we have them right where we want them, we can shoot in any direction"

Every scenario you presented would be available to him next year, with the added ability to improve his stock and get a degree. And he most likely won't be making 300k in Europe.
You are putting to much stock in a degree.
He can make a lifetime worth of money that a degreed student would make in that one extra year in the pros

Fine take out the degree part, he can still do everything you mentioned next year.

Yep.
So a decorated combat veteran who suffered 3 significant IED events and took two AK rounds volunteers to participate in a clinical study on PTSD to advance the scientific knowledge on brain trauma and you find that funny? I would truly love to run into you someday. I may be older than you but I still run 6 miles a day and bench 400 pounds. I would make you cry ..
edit: come on.
Keefe
I've got your back.
I'm with you, Crash. Some people don't know where their freedom comes from and have never worn the uniform. Obviously, the case with PTM. Probably like this for her every 28 days or so.

You are genuinely a worthless piece of sh1t. You are unworthy of contempt. I would truly love to run into you someday. I may be older than you but I still run 6 miles a day and bench 400 pounds. I would make you cry you contemptible worm.
I had to unignore you for this.
+1Back to ignore where you belong.

Geez, now I'm wishing that I had left the part in my original post where I called you a spoiled little snot nosed punk. Oh well.
I would respect keefe a lot more if he didn't turn everything into a brag-piece everytime he posts about anything. Maybe the monks in Nepal can do something about that.

Nothing but respect for those who have served, particularly in combat. That being said, who above the age of 17 quotes how much they bench? Tell me that was an ode to SNL!!!!

Sultan, you may not like his style, but ya' gotta' respect what he has done and the sacrifices he has made for his country. I'd say a multiple time wounded combat vet is entitled to a fair amount of deference. He's earned it and I, for one, am grateful for his service.

I'm with Sultan on this.
Keefe, appreciate your posts and your service to the country, but 80% of the time you insert some kind of military or life experience aspect to what you have written. Maybe if you modify your opinions and just stick to a sports/MU basketball subject it would be beneficial.

My thoughts exactly.
The NPD has taken over this board and it's turning posters into fellow blockheads.
