There is some good news.  Now lets get Crawford and Black and go for a Final Four Run next year.  Could you imagine MU going big and having 2 of otule/gardner/black/mckay on the floor at all times.  Play Jamil and Steve Taylor at the three and have a two guard lineup.  That would be a much different lineup from what we are used to seeing from an MU team!

It would be great getting a shooter like Crawford and then the toughness from Black.  Mckay is tall and aggressive but pretty lanky in comparison.

Good News! Don't know much about Crawford or Black, but IMO we should be after guys that will develop over two- three years with us. Reports are that Crawford is staying put and didn't we do ring around the rosie once before with Black? Why would we waste the time with 1 year guys unless they were big time studs?

Black is a big time stud.  He has averaged 10 and 8 all 3 years in his career.

Crawford is also a stud.  He averaged something like 15 and 5 I believe when healthy to start the year.

They would be big time players for a deeeeep team next year if we were to get either.

Don't count on either one of them IMO.  Paint Touches refuted the Crawford thing early on and there has been nothing about Black.

I really like Tarik Black, but once Otule stated he was returning, I'm not sure why MU would be interested in Black or vice versa.  He could be frustrated by a lack of minutes at MU and MU could lose out on valuable development from Steve Taylor.  Unless, of course, Tarik wants to redshirt for a year, but why would he?

Buzz cannot talk to Crawford until he decides to transfer. My guess is that he does not transfer, but if he does decide to transfer MU has as much a chance of getting him as anyone else.
