Expects the Big East to send 9! NINE!! Teams
America East sending 2

That's not updated for new conferences. There are only 5 BE teams in it, plus Louisville, UConn, Syracuse, and Cincinnati. Providence & St. John's in 1st 4 Out.

I do not care what seed we end up, as long as we avoid the bracket Kentucky is in.

Hmm...9 Big East teams in and Providence in the First Four Out? Lunardi must think we're going to have a hell of a league next year ;D

Geez, I think Lunardi may be underrating our incoming class a little.

Or we are over estimating the impact all the newcomers will have. So far, Freshmen have not seen the court all that much with Buzz as HC.

If there is one thing we have learned during the reign of BuzzBall is that everything changes and everyone steps up.

There is no reason why one of the frosh guards won't be able to contribute at a high level and when combined with what returns, fill the holes left by Cadougan and Blue.    We can't shoot from 3 any worse than this past year and the front court, barring injury, will be dominate from beginning to end.

MU will be 1 or 2 on the Big East and at least a 4 seed in the tournament.

A 6? A 6?

Based on our significant body of work so far in the 2013-14 season -- all the great victories and the few "good losses," not to mention our upward arc and our players' star power -- we're a 2, minimum.

Without our incoming class next year we would do better than a 6! Screw Lunardi - and everyone else who still hasn't realized its not smart to doubt us!

UK is a 1 seed on the sole fact that they reel in some stud freshman. Look what happened to that little experiment this year. First round NIT loss. But, they are a one seed, while the team that made the ELITE EIGHT and returns a great chunk of playing time, scoring and EXP is a 6th.

Last year UK had only 1 recruit in the top 14, Noel, who got hurt late in the season anyway. The year they won the title they had 3 freshman in the top 5 in the class. I see a trend with Calipari. His 2009 (Wall, Cousins), 2011 (Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist), and now 2013 (Randle, Harrisons, maybe Wiggins) classes were all spectacular, while his 2010 and 2012 were a little underwhelming for his standards. Seems he gets his best classes in odd numbered years.

They were also very successful in 2011-2012 because they returned talent that hadn't left the previous year. This year they weren't very good because everybody left and practically nobody with experience returned. Next year they'll be returning 2 or 3 starters along with the class they're bringing in.

Becky a 5?

Joey has lost all credibility with me now..  Criminal to put MU a 6 and Becky a 5.

Becky is like a bad rash. Always annoying and never goes away.

Curious if Lunardi bumps us to a 3 or 4 seed now with Jake back in the fold..... ;)

Buzz has never had a class like the one coming in. Talent is talent. Age is just a number.

Lunardi has us in the NCAA, not the NIT.

Plus, we had that killer closed scrimmage just before the start of the season.

It is just a preseason poll. It really doesn't mean anything. Besides, this years tournament made most of the bracketologists look as accurate as weathermen.

I just hope we are still preseason Top 25. Not because it means anything as a predictor of success or making the tournament, but just because it means we'll probably have more national TV games early on....although not sure how that will work with the new Fox network...

Crazy Talk.  I'd rather be a 2 seed in Kentucky's bracket than a 6 seed in any bracket.
