Title: JFB (or Jimmy "buckets" if you're from Chicago) takes on NY Knicks
Post by: Logi4three on April 11, 2013, 07:49:42 PM
Would love to see JFB have a huge game tonight.  He is off to a decent start and the leading scorer, but they are down right now.  Go JFB.

Edit: Props to Novak too and would love to see him have a good game as well, but he is a bit more established than JFB so I am still rooting for the Bulls.

There was a Marquette battle for a play in the second qtr.  He has Novak on him and tried to take it inside against him.  Felton stole it from him though.

Love Steve, but he's "established" as a situational specialist. JFB is on the verge of something much bigger than that.

There is a lot of talk in Chicago about whether he is a long term solid role player 2/3 back-up or the 2 of the future.  He is getting an audition for the latter position.

Jimmy is a beast. Give him minutes and he will always D and give you heavy boards and points. Just a gamer. People are finally noticing. He does this playing with washed up guys too. Nate Robinson is just trash.

Butler eating up Jason Kidd.  First an assist for a 3 off the post-up, and then the and one bucket.    And playing nice D on Melo.

At the end off 3, JB with 11 rebounds and 20 points.  Got  his first rest over the last 50 seconds.  Melo 10/26 with JB on him a fair amount.

Robinson continuing to use the belt after his 3 balls.. One right at Steve. Hope Steve can knock one or two down.

Sweet layup by JFB, but then he had to bail his Heinrick out to foul Mello.  Come on Jimmy.  Watch for him after this timeout.

13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks, and 22 points!  That is awesome.  Come on Bulls and help JFB out.

When did Hinrich start sucking so bad?  He did smoke Kidd at the end of regulation a couple times, but they both looked like they were playing in a retired NBA player game at the time.

I watch almost every Bulls game and what amazes me about JB is that he never seems tired.  He'll play the entire game and never look like he needs a rest.  Deng too plays most of the game but at times looks like he's exhausted.

Deng should have had wrist surgery over the summer but played in the London Olympics.  Thibs has run Deng into the ground until recently as Butler has emerged and Deng has worn down.  Jimmy is taking advantage.

I was at the game last night, crowd loves/appreciates Butler more than any other Bull. Nice walking into Gate 7 at the UC and there's a huge poster of Butler hanging down from the ceiling near the Pippen statue.

I know this might take this off track, but any time Rose came on the scoreboard, there was a smattering of boo's, at least in the section I was in.
