Goes to St. Johns,
No 22 ESPN 100 Rysheed Jordan out of Philly. Over Temple and UCLA.
Big Boost for that team. With Obekpa, Greene, and possibly Harrison, could be a top competitor.
good for them, hope we beat them by 20
Good news. We all have to cheer for St. John's big time. New York metro fans only back winners and if this league is going to be successful we need New York fans into this league.
The talent is there, no question. Lavin better put this talent together and win.
Will he qualify, unlike over half of Lavin's other top recruits?
is Lavin a good coach? I grew up in LA, but didn't watch him much out there, seems to have pretty mediocre results at traditionally strong schools

You must have been unaware of Lavins ability to put guys in the NBA during his time at UCLA. He still has guys who played for him still in the league.

I agree with Bilsu-good recruiter, average coach. I thought the addition of Gene Keady would be the boost he needed at St. John's, but not so far.
right, so he has good players, that end up in the NBA, but does not win all that much. so.... no then 8-)

This. He was on the heat seat several times while at UCLA because of mediocre season records but kept his job with surprisingly good tourney runs.
