Title: Rise to the occasion significance?
Post by: mr.MUskie on April 08, 2013, 08:23:48 PM

Adidas marketing slogan.  All the schools wearing it are Adidas schools.

That was only briefly and only for louisville. once people made a stink about adidas profiting off ware's injury, they pulled the shirts. Rise to the Occasion was for the adidas teams.

Definitely not, although Louisville had shirts made.. then they figured out (which was obvious) that selling those shirts wasn't allowed under NCAA rules and they put a halt to it.

Only 3 people telling me I'm wrong in less than 5 minutes?  Come on guys, you can do better than that.

FWIW the UL players had the Ri5e version on.

The traffic on the board is light this morning because:
A. everyone had to stay up late watching the game.
B. People are boycotting because of limited One Shining Moment exposure.
C. Members are busy searching the thread archives for a topic they can bring back to life after 5 years.
D. Doug G. stole their identity and they can't access their computer.

I noticed Russ Smith had the preinjury version of the shirt on last night.  Just another way he wasn't on the same page as his teammates last night.

They didn't have to pay for theirs, so I assume that that was allowed by the NCAA.
