This will be our game next year!
Looooyeville by 8.
Wow, that wasa three.
How did tOSU ever let Trey Burke get outta Columbus?
Michigan and Loserville have huge contingent of fans. If MU had made it, wonder how many fans would have shown.
Michigan with three freshmen starting in title game. Wow...
Was Weber the primary/only reason why the ff appearance was vacatedfor Michigan?
the 3 is going to be the difference for MI, i fear
Amazing that the kid from UM, who only made 9 3 pointers in the regular season and Big Ten tournament combined has made all 9 3 point shots he has attempted in the NCAA tournament.
Add in McGrary coming to life in the tournament and UM has had lots of parts step up that weren't counted on in the regular season.
I don't like the foul call against Dieng on the "heave" in-bounds. Doesn't he have as much right to the ball as the MI player?

A traditional, who was a three star recruit. Having just a monster game.
Michigan can't keep shooting at this rate, or can they?
Where can we get in on some of that kind of action?
Michigan on the ropes
Stick a fork in Michigan.
Was Jake supposed to be our Albrecht?
GO BIG EAST!!!
Albrecht and Hancock – traditional's dominating!
My goodness, the traditionals are on fire for both teams......fire........
What a comeback and what a dunk by Harell, wow.
Great game.
Hancock may be MVP of the Final 4.

Yes. The AD even said. "It's not fair but its a team sport and you can't punish one". I'm paraphrasing.

They already had a PG in Aaron Craft. Couldn't offer the PT that Michigan could.
Does the PA announcer sound like Gene Honda to anyone else?
Wikipedia is telling me it is in fact Gene Honda.
I will give Kellogg credit he is trying to stay unbiased, but you can tell he really wants Michigan to win.
Saying he is an OSU guy doesn't fool me. Doesn't mean he still would not cheer for a Big Ten team over a non-Big Ten one.
Boy, rough game for Smith. But holy crap is Siva fast.
What an awesomely fun game to watch.
This is nuts. The pace is frantic. Love it.
Burke is tough! But let's go 'Ville!! Gotta represent for the Big East!

Enjoy watching LV play. Hope we get to that level.
How many layups has Siva missed tonight?

He is 6/13 with 6 boards, 5 assists, 4 steals and 16 points.

Some of them have a pretty high degree of difficulty. Its not like they are fast breaks or lay up line shots.
Of all the big men we've missed on lately... Dieng, to me, is the most impressive. Would love him in a warrior uniform
Had Dieng matriculated, MU would be playin' tonight.

His offensive game has grown so much. Really impressive.
Pitino pissed by that Russ Smith shot. Should have dribbled it out and eaten some clock. He's rightfully pissed off.

Yeah, Smith is playing like he did in that 5 OT ND game. Stupid plays, and poor execution. Not a great showing from a great player.

Apparently Lville doesn't run out the clock? Past 3 possessions they have taken shots in the 20s on the shot clock.
Geesh, does everyone have 4 fouls...
Seriously, how was UM not called for a foul under the basket there? They were hammering Behannan.

True, but that whole play was out of control too. I'm questioning Slick Rick's gameplan here with all these early shotclock shots. This game should be over by now with them up 10ish.
I don't know how the guys get up after some of these falls.

Not to mention 68 uncalled fouls.
Pitino should tell SMith and Siva to get the ball into Deing and Behannan with 7-8 on the shot clock from here on out.
Russ Smith is just handing this game back to Michigan. What a terrible, terrible game. Shooting, fouls, turnovers, bad mistake on that rebound, not bringing it back. Terrible.
BTW, Behanan is a MAN.

Refs aren't calling much on anyone. It is amazing how many critical players are in foul trouble. Can't believe Louisville just got into bonus.
Hancock or Chane for your MVP, but Siva will probably get it.
Huge coaching blunder by Michigan at the end of the game - keeping Burke in on defense. Wasted 20 seconds of the last 50 seconds.
Mrs. Pitino looks...um... good?
Cue up some "One Shining Moment."

Hancock got them tied in first half, Behanan won the game.
He had 15 points, 13 rebounds including 8 offensive. He was a beast inside in second half.
Great game, best in a long time.
Yeah just really fun to watch.

Have you seen Karen Sypher? Rick clearly has a type.
Well, the best team won this year. Congrats to Louisville, the "old" Big East goes out in style.
Agree, great fun game.
What's your flavor for The Masters?
Thought Beilein really screwed the pooch in that second half.
Is there a gif of pinto freaking out when the fireworks went off?
Hancock brought Louisville back in it in the first half. Siva played at the highest energy level of anyone in the game. Behanan was an absolute beast in the second half - really impressive inside. Pitino outcoached Belein in the second half.

And Louisville out worked Michigan. Which says a lot. Michigan was working hard.

Yes, he did.
Pitino managed his players well, but like you said, those players really stepped it up.
They wanted it more.
I can recall McGary inbounding the ball in the final minutes asking Burke what to do.
Inexperienced at the end, desperate and disheveled, Michigan lost their composure...Beilein lost control...Michigan lost the game.
Enjoy them, ACC.
Your league could shine with Lousiville, but Pitino isn't getting any younger.

Guards game.
I'll take a Trey Burke, also a traditional...it's a guards game.
I'll take a Luke Hancock, not a guard, but he sure can shoot. Shooting opens up so much as Michigan and Louisville both showed tonight. We have awful shooters.
OK, how many shots of Marquette in the One Shining Moment? I call Blue's layup against Davidson.
Great game. Hard to pick the best L'ville player with Hancock awesome in the end of the first half, Siva and Bahanan unbelievable in the 2nd half. Pitino's awesome duck & cover reaction when the confetti cannons went boom at the end of the game. Obligatory Karen Sypher reference/citing when Rick's wife shows up. Best of all, bragging rights of being co-champion of the league that won the national championship. Lets hope the next several years were as great as the last and that new recruits realize what a benefit an all basketball league could be to them.
"we all came out of the same woose"???? Huh?!?

Well, the 4th was getting posterized. But hey, 4 shots and one of Buzz. A bit of a shame there wasnt the Blue layup. I know I am a bit biased, but that was one of the most talked about plays in the first round in the non-marquette circles I run in.

There was nothing traditional about Burke's block on Siva.
Truly a fun game to watch, capping a fun Final Four and a fun tournament.
This was one of the most enjoyable tourneys, beginning to end, I can remember.
And even with all the craziness and upsets and surprises, the best team IMHO still won. Take that BCS!
